Kuragari was abandoned as a newborn child in a such place and was taken in by a criminal who saw him as a ticket to get rich. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ QUIRK: Quirk will be a mixture of Horo Horo no Mi from one piece and Ajin from Ajin: demi-human. This is my first novel, well fan-fic. There might be many mistake and I hope you can point that out in the paragraph comments, chapter comment, and reviews. The Art and original series don't belong to me. If you own anything here and would like it removed I'll do it. Update Schedule: Unknown for now Have fun.

Chapter 11 - Welcome home

Kuragari awoke, sitting up on its bed. Even with its hair covering its eyes, it could still see perfectly as if nothing was obstructing its vision. It now wore simple gray pants, a black shirt, and no shoes.

It sat up, looking around to find itself in a room different from the one it and its father sleep in. The difference didn't bother it, only the fact its father was missing from its side.

A place without its father reminded it of the red room where it had spent most of its life, causing it to tremble in fear. "...Father..." It muttered, remembering the prison it was where the man came in and tried to hurt it. "I ne-need to find father..." Whenever its father was close, it never felt pain.

Father protected it from everything and everyone that wanted to hurt it.

It quickly jumped off the bed, falling to the ground due to the sudden movement. Its jaw hurt, but it didn't know why. Ignoring the pain, it ran towards the door, holding it and trying to pull it open.

As it struggled to open the door, the dark minotaur behind the child clenched its fist and launched it at the door. Before its fist hit the door, someone grabbed hold of it, pulling Kuragari with it.

The child fell into the person's arm, the fist stopping an inch away from their face, sending out a wave of air that caused their hair to flutter. "That could have killed me." Kuragari recognized the voice coming from the person.

It quickly looked up, smiling brightly to see its father. "Father!" It screamed, hugging Ankoku.

"Right, right. 'Father.'" Ankoku replied mockingly, which the child didn't have the knowledge to notice. "Kuragari. I want you to meet someone."

Kuragari looked up as the dark minotaur disintegrated away, confused. It quickly looked to the ground, remembering it wasn't allowed to look straight at its father's face.

"Come with me." Ankoku turned around and walked away, his hands by his side. This confused Kuragari as its father always wanted to hold its hand, but it thought nothing of it.

The child had to run to keep up with its father's walking speed, something that hadn't happened before, but once more, it thought nothing of it. It wanted to ask a question but kept its mouth shut. It was supposed to be a doll that never spoke if not spoken to, or its father would leave it, so it remained silent.

Ankoku led the child as they walked through the hallway of the house, a house that looked like it belonged to a small family. They climbed the stairs, arriving in front of a door on the second floor.

"Before we get in, I will let you know." Ankoku said, holding the door knob. "I will be leaving you."

Kuragari froze, confused. "W-why?" It stuttered, forcing itself not to look up. I was confused. Father always said he would protect it and stay with it as long as it obeyed all of his wishes. It did everything father said it should do. "What di-did I do wrong?" It stuttered, grabbing onto Ankoku's hand. "Pl-please, don't leave me. They wi-will hurt me." Kuragari cried, keeping its eyes on the ground. "Ple---"

Ankoku pulled his hands from Kuragari's grip, "Did I permit you to speak!?" He growled, causing Kuragari to swallow its remaining words. "And don't touch me."

Kuragari placed its hands to its side, its fingers repetitively twitching. It started sobbing, clenching its lips so it wouldn't let out any noise. It couldn't speak. If it did, its father might hate it and really leave.

All the time it spent without its father started flooding back into its mind. The time spent in the red room with the people wearing masks, torturing and beating it. When it was chained to a chair, it didn't want to go back there. Everyone except its father was trying to hurt it, and if its father left, they would have the chance to hurt it.

Kuragari clenched its mouth shut as it cried, grabbing its dress tightly. "I am tired of protecting you, Kuragari." Ankoku said, turning the door knob, "So,

Once the door opened, Ankoku grabbed Kuragari's arm and threw the child inside the room like a ragdoll, slamming the door shut before it could say anything.

Kuragari lay on the ground, wailing. What did it do? Why did daddy leave it? "Don't cry, child." A male voice spoke, drawing the child's attention. In the room, a man with strong and imposing features sat on the bed. He stood over 7 feet tall, with short white hair and luminous red eyes, wearing a dark suit over a white shirt.

Kuragari's heart sank as it quickly crawled backward, getting away from the bed. "Ge-get away!" It cried, its body trembling and sweat covering its entire body. It was the same as in the past. In a room alone with another person, without its father being there. Something gripped its shoulder, breathing down its neck and muttering incoherent words into its ear.

Being alone in this room brought up something it had forgotten.

The feeling was more agonizing than all the pain it ever felt.

The man stood from his bed, casting a shadow over the trembling Kuragari. "You are all alone, Kuragari." He started walking towards the child, whose back hit the door. "What you are feeling now is fear. You are afraid of being alone with me."

Kuragari froze, its heart and breathing rate accelerating as it stared at the man. "The crippling feeling. The irrational despair that rushes through your entire being when alone with a human being without your father." He stopped in front of Kuragari, noticing the child was excreting. "The irrational fear of a human has worsened after you didn't experience fear for months because your father was always by your side."

Kuragari didn't respond. It couldn't. Fear had taken over its entire body, with its mind unconsciously stopping its quirk from responding as a defense mechanism, which the black phantoms would do.

"From now on, that fear will only grow. It would grow insidious, engulfing you whole and stopping you from escaping, and your father isn't here to protect you." He continued, "Your father isn't here to protect you. I wouldn't protect you from that fear. No one will stop the fear." He extended his right hand to Kuragari, his palm having a distinctive hole in the middle. "But I can teach you how to defend yourself. I can help you become stronger. I will teach you how to be able to deal with your fear and get rid of it. I will help you conquer your fear. All you have to do is grab onto my hands."

Kuragari didn't move. It couldn't. It didn't even understand what the man was saying.

"So, that is your choice." The man pulled away as the door behind Kuragari swung open. "The door is open for you. Run." The man then turned around and returned to his seat. Once the man turned around, Kuragari immediately turned around and crawled out of the door, standing up and running away while stumbling.

The elderly man with short stature and portly build entered the room a few seconds later. He is completely bald and has a very large and bushy mustache, wearing a set of goggles shaped somewhat like gears, a white, buttoned-up lab coat, a white shirt below the lab coat, black slacks, and black shoes.

He stared at Kuragari running through the hallway, exiting through a door that led outside, which was open beforehand. "Are you sure we should let the child go, sensei?" He asked, turning to the other man. "I could modify him or duplicate his quirks. They all have potential that must be exploited. Especially his revival."

"It's fine, doctor." The man smiled, sitting on the bed. "It would be wrong to force my will onto him. I will wait for the child to come to me and willingly take my hands."

"Just like Tomura." The doctor mumbled before asking, "What should we do if a hero or someone else takes him in and treats him."

"Don't worry, Kyudai." He clasped his hands together. "I am certain of what will happen. The child's mind is simple and easy to manipulate. Although Ankoku managed to make Kuragari heavily reliant on him, he died too early before he could turn the child into a being that can ONLY rely on him." He smirked, "Let him venture into the real world without his father protecting him. I am sure his Anthropophobia will make him hold my hands."

Kuragari ran outside the compound, where it froze on the sidewalk. No matter where they looked, they were humans. People would hurt it if it were alone. The thing that father warned about and vowed to protect from them.

The child froze like before, watching as the people walked by. Some glanced at it, their eyes filled with 'malice' before walking away. They looked at it with a 'crazed smile,' with one of them reaching into her bag to bring out a 'weapon.'

'Run.' Its mind echoed those words as energy surged through its body. It didn't want to return with them, so it wouldn't let them catch it. It will find its father and stay with him.

Kuragari awkwardly ran through the street, like a child that just learned to run, much more slowly than any child its age. Its body had no natural nutrients since it had never eaten OR drank anything if you don't count spit and piss since it was born. However, it was still living.

It breathed heavily as each step caused pain to surge through its body. Its lungs ached, struggling to take in air. Dizziness overcame it, but it kept running as everyone looked at it with glowing red eyes, a mad grin on their face. The sweet smile of its father appeared in its mind, forcing it to keep moving forward.

The world began to spin, and soon later, it collapsed to the ground, dying from exhaustion. A father who was pushing his one-year-old son in a stroller noticed this and stopped the stroller to walk over to him.

"Hay, buddy! You alright?" He asked, extending his right arm to him. "Are you alright? Are you lost? I am Mr. Yoarashi. I will make sure to take you to the police."

Kuragari revived and instinctively reached for the handheld towards him, freezing once he saw the man's appearance. His eyes were crescent-shaped, and both of them were glowing red. He had the largest grin on his face.

"Come on, baby. Grab onto my hands. I am sure we will have a lot of fun." The man said, licking his lips and reaching to grab Kuragari's outstretched hand.

The child gagged as if wanting to throw up, but there was nothing to throw up before it quickly stood up and ran into oncoming traffic. "Shit!" Mr. Yoarashi shouted, wondering what was wrong with the child, but this wasn't the time for that.

A speeding 16-wheeler truck was zooming down the street, heading for the child. Mr. Yoarashi took in a deep breath and roared, sending out a blast of air that pushed the child out of the truck. He didn't care if the child got hurt, or if he would be arrested for using his quirk without a license, but as long as the child live---

His thought was interrupted as he noticed that the truck driver had tried to swerve away so it wouldn't hit the child. However, he had used his wind to push the child back into the way of the truck.

"NOOO!" He screamed, rushing to the child as the truck rammed into him.

Those who saw this screamed out their lungs, watching as the front of the truck kept dragging the child as it kept slowing down. Behind the truck were pieces of flesh, bones, organs, and a trial of blood left by the child.

Everyone on both sidewalks stopped to stare at what happened, some immediately calling the police and hero line while some barfing their food out. Others were just watching in horror.

"You monster!" A woman shouted at Mr. Yoarashi, who fell on his knee, his eyes wide open, staring right at the head of the child.

"If you didn't use your quirk, he could have lived."

"Call the cops!" Someone shouted as he brought out his phone to record the scene, "Someone call the fucking cops!"

Cars stopped moving, and their drivers got out to see what was happening.

*Cough* The cough of the supposedly dead child drew their attention as everyone froze.

The body part close to it flew towards it, including the blood, as they started mending its body. The body parts that were too far to retrieve were regrown.

Everyone stared wide-eyed, a shiver coursing through their body, staring at a child, whose body was utterly crushed from its neck and down, now standing naked on its two feet.

"M-monster." Someone muttered, her voice piercing through the silence.

"Holy shit! It revived!" A guy shouted, "What a cool quirk!" A guy praised the boy, but the others' screams drowned his voice.

Regeneration quirks that bring back limbs were not common, but they were there. But someone that was able to regenerate their entire body and come back to life after death? No such phenomenon has ever been recorded or seen before.

The only way someone could possibly come back from the finite point known as death is if they somehow sold their soul to the devil for power. Therefore, the child's quirk that causes you to revive from death, healing all your injuries, was immediately seen as evil by the masses.

Some were jealous of this child's power to revive, while others were scared. However, they all ganged together and slandered the child, too occupied with that to even notice they were basically telling the child to die.

"Call the hero! It needs to go away!" A woman commanded as she started dialing 110.

"Oh, God. What the fuck is that!?" A man stuttered, stumbling back. "How?"

Kuragari looked around at the people as they all became naked, each wearing a unique mask and holding different weapons. The world slowly turned red, the sky taking on a reddish hue.

'They will take you and have fun with you.' A voice whispered in its head, causing it to stumble back. 'Daddy isn't here to protect us. What are you going to do?'

Kuragari froze in overwhelming fear as one of the naked women started walking towards it, wearing a bunny mask and holding a bloody red pipe wrench. 'What will you do?' The voice asked again, getting louder, 'Freeze? Run? Or---' Before the voice could finish its sentence, Kuragari took off running.

Its body produced power from seemingly nowhere as it ran into an alleyway so fast that no one could react. A few looked into the alley but found no one there. In a blur, the child was lost.

Mr. Yoarashi knelt on the ground, his mind blank. On one hand, he has just killed a child, but the child he killed just arose from the dead. What was he supposed to feel?

*Waaa!* The cry of his son caught his attention and he rushed toward the little boy smiling. "I'm just happy the child didn't get to miss out on life." He said this, but the horror he just caused stayed in the back of his mind.

Kuragari didn't know how, but now it was alone, walking below a bridge. It dragged its foot on the ground, exhausted, with pale white skin, and its body shriveled out, deprived of blood or oxygen.

It fell to the ground, dying. Its body immediately returned to its original color, becoming healthy as the child stood up and continued walking. Kuragari soon stopped crying.

"Daddy." It choked on its words, snorting and tears messing up its face. It stood under the bridge, wailing. "...Wh-why did you leave me..."

It didn't understand why its father suddenly left it with these people who wanted to hurt it. What did it do wrong? Why was everyone trying to hurt it? Why am I afraid? It held its head, feeling the voice inside getting louder, screaming incoherently. Why?

"Because you are weak." A voice that it recognized answered, causing it to look up. The man from the house was walking towards him. "You are afraid because you are weak."

Kuragari stumbled back in fear, its mind not synchronizing well with its body, causing it to fall backward on its butt. He tried to stand up, but his body wasn't responding. It wanted to run from this man that wanted to hurt it, but it couldn't move.

The man stopped walking, "If you were strong, you wouldn't fear anything. You won't fear me or fear being alone without your father." The man opened his arm wide, "I can teach you! I can help you overcome your fear! I can make you stronger so that you won't need to fear anyone. I can rid you of all your fears." He held out his right hand. "All you have to do is come with me."

Kuragari stared at the man's hand, trembling. 'Father isn't here now.' The voice in his head spoke to him. 'He will take the place of father that left us.' A shadow seemingly grabbed his arm and extended it to the man. 'He is just an arm's length away. You can replace daddy. He will protect you.'

Kuragari stood up, the voice saying, 'That's right. Go to him.' He dragged his body and started moving towards the man. 'Daddy once told us, -You are useful to me, so daddy loves you.- Now, he isn't useful to us, so why should we love him.' He started walking faster toward the man. 'This man would protect us in daddy's place from those evil people. He is useful to us, so we will love him!'

Kuragari ran towards the man, and instead of grabbing onto his hand, it hugged him. "I love you, daddy." It said, snuggling into the man.

"...Right..." The man replied, sounding surprised. "Father." He replied with a chuckle. "Let's head home."

The man held Kuragari's hand, taking him through the back side of the town and into his house through the backyard. Kyudai came out to see who it was, surprised to see them.

He hadn't noticed the man leave the house, but this wasn't the first time, nor would it be the last, so he didn't bother to ask. "You brought the child back. I knew you were right."

The man smiled, closing the door behind him. "This is my newly adopted son." He introduced, noticing that Kuragari wasn't flinching at the sight of Kyudai. He smiled, noticing he had taken the place of Ankoku, but the way the child quickly switched its benefactor, he knew the child would do it once more. "I can't wait to see how you grow, Kyoki."

The child looked at the man, confused. "Kyoki? Who is that?"

"You, my son." The man smiled, kneeling in front of the child, causing it to look to the ground, not wanting to stare at the man's face. "Kyoki, meaning Insanity. You are a beautiful child filled with Insanity, an attribute that lends itself to hatred."

"Kyoki." The child repeated, smiling. It felt better that it didn't have its old name,

"You will get my last name, Shigaraki." The man grinned, "Welcome home, Kyoki Shigaraki."

And so Kyoki Shigaraki was born.

Kuragari new name is Kyōki, meaning insanity. If you want to find the meaning, don't search up Kyoki because it will show you many other meaning, search up this kanji---(It is in the paragraph comment. Webnovel will not allow me to publish the chapter with a Chinese or Korean characters, even though it is japanese.)

The funny thing is, I didn't know that Anthropophobia existed till I searched up "Irrational fear of human," and it showed up.

Also, am I the only one who thinks certain quirk weren't used to their fullest potential in the manga or the character weren't focused on? The author probably knew that these character would either take Deku's spot light or make the show useless, Like Denki Kaminari quirk Electrification, Inasa Yoarashi quirk Whirlwind, Shinya Kamihara quirk Foldabody, or the god level quirks like, Ochaco Uraraka Zero Gravity, Eri quirk Rewind, Momo Yaoyorozu quirk, Creation, Yo Shindo quirk Vibrate, Neito Monoma quirk Copy, and the incarnation of a sprinkle of God piss himself, Kai Chisaki Overhaul.

There might be more I didn't notice, but if you do, feel free to tell me.

I will try to focused on these characters, bringing their quirk potential and improving on their characters. If you have any ideas, feel free to tell me. I will read through it and consider it. Also, I might make an original character, so if you have any idea of what type of character you will like to see, tell me.

Creation is hard, cheer me up!
