Fate's Possibility

'Darkness'

The only word used to describe the void. A place where nothing begins, yet nothing ends. those who have witnessed this place cant fully understand how such a thing can exist, those who try only fall into madness. even the once they have dubbed 'Gods' don't know the true answer. Yet, this is where our story starts, a blackened void where nothing should exist, but something does. A soul, more specifically a fragment of a soul slowly withering away in the void. From many eons, it has been fading as it gets absorbed to the void, being erased forever.

BUT, fortune still favors this one, as a bright all-encompassing light covers the void pushing away darkened, as the soul draws closer to this light. As the soul gravitates near the source of the light, it starts dim revealing an entity radiating a holy aura. This 'thing' looks towards the poor soul fragment, using both of its hands to slowly to take hold of it. With that, the entity vanishes away with the broken soul.

With a jolt, a body rases up from the grassy floor looking around the field confused. it starts to feel it's body making sure nothing is lost. sweat starts to build on the body, as it starts to remember a terrifying nightmare where he was slowly fading away and each time a part vanished he could feel unimaginable pain. taking a deep breath, the boy calms down as it gets up from the ground looking around, he was currently standing in what looks like a garden. A beautiful place beyond words, something only achievable in dreams. as his vision drifts around, he spots a person sitting quickly reading what looks like a book.

Taking another deep breath, he tried to calm his nerves. In his mind, there were too many questions and nothing about this made sense. The only thing he last remembers was sleeping calmly in his bed and seeing that uncomparable nightmare. Then out of normal waking up in some dream garden. He already tried slapping himself and made sure he's not sleeping. being the only other option, the boy walked forward towards the man in the hopes he can get some answers. When he got close, however, the man turned his head away from the book and towards the boy.

"Ah, so you've finally awake. you're a heavy sleeper you know that. Still glad you got your sense of self and reasoning back. come sit down, I can see you have a lot of questions."

The man spoke in a friendly tone towards the boy motioning him to take a seat next to him. the boy at first was a bit hesitant but giving in to his curiosity. Sitting down, the boy looked towards the man and asked him straight up.

"Who are you?"

"Well son, I'm God"

"Hmm, okay, but why am I talking to God"

"In short, you died peacefully in your sleep, but somehow instead of going to heaven like everyone else. you got stuck in the void for a way too long. you get lucky enough that you didn't fade away in the first eon before I noticed. So I pulled you from the void and repaired your soul and brought you here."

"huh"

The boy just sat there trying to process what he said, the first being he did. he only reached his late 20s and he died. Giving out a sign, he just sat there as tears flowed down from his eyes. these tears weren't for the fact he died, no, but because he died and left his friends and family. He always joked about dying but he never wanted to. He had too many people in his life that he wanted to keep and help.

"Tell me, what happened to my family"

"oh, they're doing fine. they cried a lot when you passed away, but they are living happily. Your death inspired some to do great things."

"At least I helped someone."

he said wiping the tears from his eyes as he gives out a sign.

"So, know what?"

"Well normally you get to send to heaven and live there but considering your situation, I have another option for you."

"Which is?"

"I shall grant you a wish and I shall send you to different worlds to live in."

"wait, I am going to be isekai'ed into another world type thing"

"Obviously"

"Do I got to choose which worlds I live in?"

"Where's the fun in that, I will send you to random worlds. but you don't have to worry, as I will not send you into something like the walking dead."

forcing is thoughts, the boy started to think deeply about this wish. he needed something well rounded but also powerful. In his mind, only one thing pops into his mind.

"Can I have servent cards from the Nasuverse, but like can the cards have the full potential of the heroic spirit inside them. since the cards normally are weaker than the actual hero. also bind it to my soul so they won't be lost or stolen."

"A simple enough wish, but I shall pick the heroes inside that cards for an extra surprise."

with a snap of his figures, a desk of golden cards appears in front of the boy. Immediately after the cards manifested, a vortex opens up above the boy pulling him into it.

"See you later Ezra Van einzbern, live a fun and wonderful life"

The god yells out waving his hand in goodby, and with that Ezra vanishes from the garden entering the vortex in the sky.

"What a weird god"

He says falling through what seems like an infinite dark void towards a bright all-encompassing light.
