"This woman... did she misunderstand something?"
Knight watched as Juvia disappeared into the distance, replaying their conversation in his mind.
Something about her reaction felt off.
He glanced at the magic bank card in his hand, infused it with magic, and saw that it indeed contained two million J. He looked down at the silver ring on his finger and sighed.
"It does look like it could cause a misunderstanding."
"Did she think I was proposing to her because I gave her a ring?" Knight mused, a little unsure.
Regardless, it didn't matter. As long as Juvia distributed the rings to the Ghost Guild wizards, his goal was achieved.
Next, Knight found a restaurant, ordered dinner, and opened the system interface while waiting for his meal. He silently monitored the increase in registered users. If the numbers didn't rise, he'd have to track Juvia down and reclaim the rings.
...
At the top of the mountain, in the heart of Ogu City, Juvia pushed open the door of the Ghost Guild.
Her entrance silenced the once lively atmosphere.
"Lady Juvia... weren't you on a mission?" one of the female wizards asked, surprised.
Juvia walked up to her, pulled out a ring, and offered it firmly.
"20,000 J. It's yours."
The female wizard blinked, confused. "Huh?"
"20,000 J. Pay up," Juvia repeated. She remembered Knight's instructions to sell the rings and make a lot of money. While she wasn't concerned with the money, following Knight's instructions was important to her.
Without much choice, the female wizard paid. The ring seemed nice, and for 20,000 J, it wasn't expensive, especially for a magic item. She slid it onto her finger, infused it with magic power, and immediately froze as lines of text appeared in front of her eyes.
"Internet?" she muttered, bewildered.
Juvia, satisfied, moved on to the next wizard, repeating the process. Word spread quickly, and soon wizards were lining up to buy rings from her. Each ring was sold for 20,000 J—double the price Knight originally suggested.
In no time, Juvia sold all 199 rings, earning a tidy sum of 3.98 million J. She transferred the money onto a new magic bank card and rushed out of the guild, eager to find Knight and report her success.
It wasn't until after she left that the Ghost Guild wizards began speaking up.
"What just happened?" one asked, puzzled.
"Did Lady Juvia drink too much?" another wondered aloud.
But soon, all talk faded as they immersed themselves in the new virtual world they'd discovered through the rings.
...
Back in the restaurant, Knight was still waiting for his meal when the number of registered users on the system screen surged from 101 to 300 in just a few minutes.
His eyes widened in disbelief.
[Task: Have 300 Internet users.] [Completed!]
"Juvia's efficiency is like a rocket!" Knight muttered, thoroughly impressed. He nodded with satisfaction. She was obedient and capable, qualities he respected. A small grin appeared on his face. "Not bad, I kind of like this rain girl."
As he received his system reward, Knight pondered the available choices. After some thought, he opted for the second option: "Six Eyes." It was a rare auxiliary ability that offered 360-degree vision and the ability to see magic energy flows.
Once he made his choice, the system began its conversion.
[Detected that it is not a Jujutsu Kaisen world, the reward is being converted...] [Bloodline Talent Six Eyes → Inherent Magic Six Eyes!]
Knight felt a surge of heat in his eyes, and complex magical knowledge flowed into his mind. His vision changed, and when he opened his eyes, his irises had turned pale blue, resembling a misty sky.
"This is... the perspective of Six Eyes?" Knight muttered, adjusting to his new vision. "360-degree sight with no blind spots, and I can see the flow of magic clearly."
Just then, his eyes spotted Juvia nearby, anxiously searching for him.
"She's looking for me?" Knight stood up, smiling, and left the restaurant.
...
"Where is he?" Juvia fretted, scanning the street.
"Behind you."
Juvia spun around at the sound of Knight's voice, her face lighting up with relief and excitement. "Lord Knight!"
"You're very capable. I like that about you," Knight said, nodding in appreciation. "Come on, I'll treat you to dinner."
Juvia's heart raced, and her face flushed. "L-Lord Knight... your eyes?"
She had just noticed the difference in his appearance.
"It's just a new magic I learned. Don't worry about it," Knight replied, touching his eyelids casually.
These new eyes gave him the power to perceive everything around him, including any potential dangers. They also allowed him to manipulate his magic with extraordinary precision.
"Oh," Juvia responded softly, still flustered. She followed Knight back to the restaurant, where they took a seat by the window, and a lavish meal was soon served.
"Is this... a date?" Juvia wondered, covering her face in embarrassment, secretly thrilled.
As they ate, Juvia quickly remembered her mission. "Lord Knight, I sold all the rings you gave me. I made 3.98 million J!"
She offered him the bank card.
"That's your money, Juvia. Keep it," Knight replied with a smile. "I told you—you could make a lot of money, didn't I?"
He didn't cheat capable "partners."
"But tell me, how exactly did you sell them?"
Juvia explained everything in detail, including her doubling the price and the quick sellout. Knight was left speechless. She had effectively forced the sale on the entire guild. She was indeed an S-class wizard of the Phantom Guild.
"Let's properly introduce ourselves," Knight said, taking off his glove and revealing the Fairy Tail emblem on his hand. He extended it for a handshake.
"I am Knight, a wizard of Fairy Tail."
Juvia, now more confused and amazed than ever, reached out to shake his hand.
