Excerpt ~ Now, Kendrell felt color draining from his face. " I'm. not. a. thief." he said, word for word. " I should be calling you that, not the other way round. What explains why you're in a male restroom, with a parcel in your hands?'' Kendrell asked. " Because it's mine and you stole it." Morticia replied. " No I didn't. And it's not yours!" Ken exclaimed. " Then it's yours?" " No. It's not mine either.'' Kendrell answered. Scoffing, Morticia remarked, " Great. Now we have a confused thief.'' And that was it! That was how much he could take! Taking three more steps, he stood right in front of her. " Hand it to me, so we can both leave here peacefully." Kendrell said calmly. Clearing her throat again, Morticia replied " No, I will not and I'm still gonna leave peacefully." Dropping her hands to her sides, Morticia turned to leave. But without taking another step further, Kendrell grabbed her left hand by the wrist, forcing her to face him again. But a little more than that happened, as her face collided with his chest, while her hair brushed his defined jaw. In a trice, Morticia stepped backwards, and on the third step, her back touched the wall. Kendrell then closed in on the distance between them, before he placed his hands on the wall, right above her shoulders. Bending his back a little, he spoke up, more like in a domineering manner, as his voice was somewhere between a whisper, sounding devilishly hoarse. " I'm not a thief and you are gonna hand it over to me. Why? Because it's not yours and it's not mine either." Pausing, he continued seconds later as Morticia couldn't say anything " I won't explain myself to a... stranger like you." Ken said, looking at Morticia who had goosebumps all over her. " So just give it to me, so_" " I don't think it's right for you both to give it to each other in the open." commented a viking haired guy who had just opened the door, only to find Morticia and Kendrell in a rather intimate position. " Maybe you can find a more private location." he said. " The type that accommodates positions too." he added with a grin. Morticia was dumbstruck with terror! Her cheeks grew hotter. Hotter because it was already hot while Kendrell was speaking things her brain failed to put into meaning. ~ What does the future hold for these two? _ IG: Cristabelxx Discord: https://discord.gg/qvcywz4CNX

Thank you.
It was raining vigorously that night. And there she was, a 23 year old 5' foot 6 inch tall lady, who had dark hair, well rounded face, brown eyes, well shaped nose thin plump lips, beautiful caramel skin which was evenly toned and long legs and arms to complete her physicals.
A beauty indeed.
The young lady who's name is Morticia was furiously shivering under a tree which could barely shield her from the downpour. If only getting cold was all she had to worry about. Morticia Miles had to take shelter temporarily under the tree because she had ran out of 'the house' where she stayed to prevent herself from situations like getting drenched in the rain or getting sun burnt. Reminiscing about everything, she couldn't actually say she has had a real 'home'.
Under the rain, Morticia began thinking about her life thus far.
She used to, well, 'live' with Morgan Sanchez, a bartender who had great combat skills because of course, she experienced them first hand to tell he was good at it. Usually after getting back from work or after loosing thousands he saved for a whole month to gambling, he would lash out on her for little or no reason.
Morgan Sanchez a 37 year old 6foot man, with a broad physique was into carpentry before losing all he had to gambling. He was considered a distant relative to Morticia. However, he was no relative to her at all owing to the fact that he was adopted by Morticia's maternal grandparents since they wanted a male child to complete the family circle after giving birth to Morticia's mother Melinda as the Fourth Child and daughter of the Sanchez family. Morgan had no wife nor a child because of his vulgar and irresponsible lifestyle.
It was not by design or will but by fate that Morticia lived with him for 5 months. It was because she was in despair having lost her amazing father, Joseph Miles to death and her mother to love, blind love. Her aunts too, since they either hated her or never cared at all about her existence. At fifteen, Morticia experienced a lot for someone her age. Her mother got married to Oliver Hanks 7 months after the death of her father who was her mother's husband.
The thoughtless man her mother had settled for made it clear he didn't want a step daughter in his house if Melinda was willing to move in with him. So she had to live with her mother's immediate elder sister, Florence, as the only child of her mother and father, since her father's family were furious at Melinda's indifference and marriage after the death of their son and brother so for a few years the anger they had towards her mother also rubbed off on her.
She lived with Florence Sanchez, her aunt, for 3 years until she was eighteen. Florence who had three children, Jeffrey, Jake and Mia was categorically fair in attitude to Morticia. She catered for Morticia almost comprehensively, except for the fact that she and her eldest son and daughter were ever ready and quick to put Morticia in her 'place' . Morticia attended high school which was partly funded by Melinda, who would occasionally show up to remind Morticia she loved her dearly and give her baseless excuses as to why she had to do what she did.
Morticia had a not so great relationship with Jeff and Mia except Jake who would sneakily throw a snack through Morticia's window whenever she was being punished with food.
Two weeks to whenever Melinda was to come visit which she did 4 times each year, Florence treated Morticia a bit more fairly because she wanted to have Morticia under her roof for a longer time owing to the fact that Morticia helped her attract and keep customers at her store owing to her beauty and politeness.
Things remained that way till Florence had a boyfriend, Johanson, years after her separation from her ex boyfriend who was the father of her children that Morticia never met throughout her stay.
He was initially drawn by Morticia when he saw her on her way back from school but he knew Morticia wasn't the loosed type having observe her for a few days. So he was well aware that he couldn't trespass just without gaining her trust. But Florence was quick to jump on him when she had thought he frequented her store for literally no reason because he was attracted to her. He was handsome but also cunning so he thought he could as well have both aunt and niece.
And Of course, Johanson made a move to hit on Morticia and pinned the blame on her when he was caught after Morticia blatantly refused him. And just like that, Morticia had become a victim of blind 'love' for the second time.
No, for the third time. First, her father for falling blindly for a selfish woman like her mother, then her mother blindly falling prey for her jerk of a husband and now, her aunt who just didn't want to read between the lines and was being insecure of her own niece. if that was even the appropriate word for it.
And just like that Morticia had become homeless, Again.
