Chapter 1Departure (Part 1)

"What is this madness!?"

She screamed as some content popped up on her computer. It showed such a tacky website with many ads covered all over the place. Her name was Mari, Mari Yoshino to be precise. She worked as a doctor fro-

*Bang*

(Okay, Enough. Let's see what happened first)

It was her neighbor, but Mari didn't know her personally. Since her bedroom and the neighbor's apartment were separated by one thin wall, she could overhear her neighbor's conversation. Mari was not quite sure, but she heard someone refer to the neighbor as Hana? Kana? Whatever "...ana" it was. For now, let's assumed it was Hana. Hana banged the wall as she heard Mari's screams before. But Mari was Mari, she tried to annoy her protesting neighbor. With her tiny body around 156 cm, She stood up and took a step behind. With such an evil face, Mari stuck out her tongue as it slid around her mouth. She then cracked her knuckles, followed by a little gesture of warming up.

"Here we go!"

Mari exclaimed as she ran as fast as possible and then rammed the wall with her body. It was so loud that there was a crack appeared. Even though it hurt, she didn't stop. She sat back and put her head closer to the wall. She made more noises of the computer's clicking sound and chewed her food rapidly. Hana banged the wall more often while Mari laughed hard.

Mari was 36 years old now. Far from what you have seen, her life was more tedious and tiring. At least, not as fun as today. She tried to fulfill her expectations, but she also carried enormous expectations on her back, others'. Even her mother told her so.

"You need to get a good score!"

"Look at that neighbor, kid."

"You need to be a lawyer or doctor,"

"What will you become if you keep acting that way? We are poor,"

But what could you expect from a kid? They just wanted to play all day long, and So did her. She used to have a little sister named Mai Yoshino. She was a world to Mari since the only person who knew her feeling was Mai until she died. The story started when the kids, Mari and Mai, played tag. Mari was chosen as a chaser while Mai was the runner. Unfortunately, Mari's fitness was not good as her sister'. She was the chaser all the time. Whenever Mari caught Mai, She could be the chaser back at no time. This was when the tragedy started. Mari became a little bit competitive as she tried to jump forward whenever she was close to her sister. Her plan was to make her sister stumbled. After a few times trying, she successfully pulled off her plan. She held Mai's feet and tried to bargain.

"Can you give me time to run first?" Mari panted as she looked up at Mai.

"Umm...No?" Mai giggled as she tried to free herself. She moved harshly. Mari couldn't let her free, she then tried to sit on top of Mai.

"Now, you can't leave." Mari smiled happily as both of her hand was on her waist, a sign of pride.

"I can," Mai answered back as she strived her way to go. Mari almost fell, but then recovered and tried to have a good grip. She held Mai's chest then hand, but Mai still found her way to freedom. It was all fun, full of giggles until Mari unconsciously held Mai's neck. Mari thought she was a success since Mai couldn't move. She decided to grab it tightly. Mai who was giggling, now just struggled to breathe as her mind's blank. Both of the kids didn't know well what was happening. Time passed not so long until the only giggles left were only Mari's. She didn't know what she was doing. She killed her sister. Since then, she got depressed. People started to throw out their hatred for her and many stuff happened afterward.

(Ah...Almost forget to continue about her job)

Since then, she stopped being childish. She grew up into a smart and pretty woman with a solid 4 as her GPA score. She then worked as a doctor at 26 years old. People said it was an elite job for the smartest and many stuff of that. She tried to maintain all of that expectations but deep down she was not enjoying her work. She missed all the fun of her childhood when her sister was still alive. She then visited her old house and went to their room. Nothing interesting until she saw a pink diary with such a cute cover. Mai's stickman drawing about Mai and Mari ran happily. She cried when looked at it, she opened page to page and Mai's talked about their activity and her feeling. Mari kept continuing until she came to the last part of the diary. It was something like...

[I want my sister to live long enough to enjoy her life. She is the best sister I ever have.]

Mira that stood up there, fell to the floor with the diary still in her grip. She cried as much as she could. The floor was cold but her pain was more freezing. She promised herself and her sister that she would enjoy her life (again).

'Back to the website, should I just close all the ads and read the content, Wanna test how deep the water is,' She thought as she tried to turn her body to where the computer was placed.

She decided to close all the ads since she was bored and out of curiosity. It took 2 hours to make the content visible. Sometimes, she miss-clicked it because the close buttons were small and made her redirected to other cheap websites. Long story short, she was finally able to see it.

"SSS Cult? Looks like a bunch of idiots and made a cult out of it. By the looks, It reminds me of a phishing website. The difference was... this is not tempting at all," She mocked the website as she scrolled all over the website.

"But the good thing about this website is the content. They were surprisingly organized with a few categorized but mainly talked about conspiracy. That was one kind of childish stuff, I would love to see. I never had access to learn any of that since my parent wanted the best from me. They forced me to learn science all the time. AAA!!!" She grunted and then screamed out of frustration.

Mari forgot that her screams could cause problems since it was night already. Not so long after that, someone knocked on her door. She assumed that it was Hana.

"Look! I am sorry for what happened. Can we solve this with a cold head?"

Mari giggled since she didn't mean any of that. Hana couldn't hear the giggle, but she was persistent in knocking on the door. Mari felt annoyed and decided to lock the door. After that, She laughed with her evil laugh and then reached her computer with her jumpy T-rex walk. Hana proceeds to bang the door even harder after hearing the laugh. Mari didn't care as she started to listen to music through her headphone.

"What a noisy person. Umm... back to the business. Let's fill this form with my name. Should I? Umm... Nah, I don't want them to do bad stuff with my identity. I will use my game username instead. For the rest of the profile, I will fake it."

Mari then filled out all the forms on the website and pressed the sign-up button. She then turned her computer off, took off her headphones, made her bed, and started to sleep.

The elders are making him hold these ridiculous parties to search for a mate. He doesn't want a mate, but he knows he needs a mate to finish the Alpha Circle. Without a mate, a Luna for the pack, his people would suffer. And what is he going to do when he stumbles across the girl that fate has chosen for him and he finds out she has no wolf? "This cannot be!" I roared. "There is no way that I can mate with a girl that does not even have a wolf. She will be too weak. She will be inferior. She will not be strong enough to be a Luna." "I simply could not accept her as my mate. Not fully. It wasn't safe for her. She would get herself killed. And she would bring my pack down with her." When these two meet, sparks will surely fly. But will it be from passion, or their constant fighting? Neither of them wanted a mate. Neither of them wants the mate that fate chose for them. And neither of them can make that mate bond go away. One is a pretty guy eager to please her to escape his fate, another trying to reclaim his honour while unable to control his desires, and the last is a villain using her for his goals, but a flame festers between them at every interaction. A slave, a knight and a villain prince, who will she choose? [ Mature Content ] "You smell like the sun." His strides are long and confident, heading in my direction like he knows exactly what he wants. He stops before me, and my head tips back. "How is that possible?" His voice drops to a rumbling whisper. Now that he was close to me, the burning ache deep within started to throb and palpitate. His body tensed, and then he was on me, nose against my neck, inhaling deeply, one hand on the side of my hair, pinning me in place with his hips. My head tilts back, unable to stop myself from giving into his touch, exposing my neck more to him, his chest rumbling as he licks the side of my skin, kissing and nipping, placing his scent over me. I am completely and utterly at his mercy. I vaguely hear material ripping, and then his warm hand cups me. "You're not finished yet," his voice is thick and deep, and it shoots straight to my tingling, pulsing core. His touch is almost possessive, and I nearly beg him to do whatever he wants with me. "Should I make it better?" His whisper is a caress against my ear before he nips the lobe, a bite promising that this would not be tender. - Daily chapter uploads -
