I knew I was going to be a mom but I wasn't prepared for the reality. It was beautiful. It had been three weeks since I had Aaron.?
Three weeks of utter bliss.
"Hey Aaron" I cooed and he gurgled, kicking his legs in the air. I inhaled and smiled at him. His eyes weren't blue anymore. They were more like Eros's eyes now, silvery. He was quite small. Very small but a beautiful gift nonetheless. We had gone to the doctor but he didn't have any deficiency except for the face that he would be smaller than other children.
He grabbed my finger as I was deep in my thoughts and I ran my thumb over his tiny fingers. Eros had passed out on the couch from watching Aaron all night. That was what he always did. He'd watch Aaron all night like it was hard for him to believe that our baby was here.
Aaron wasn't noisy. He slept when he was supposed to. He only cried a few times like when Samuel or Nene carried him. Yes, he didn't let them touch him.
