Entangled with the Villain

"Can only being inlove enough to sustain a long lasting relationship?"

The bartender gave her a glance while making her drink. "I believe not." He said right away.

Singrid nodded because she too, share the same sentiments. She learned it in the hard way, after being slapped on the face by the reality that the union of flesh is necessary.

Smoke and alcohol. Sigrid immersed herself in a place packed by sins.

"Alone?" A stranger came and approached her with full of suggestiveness.

She roamed her eyes on the guy's body just to immediately look away. Disgust was written all over her face after seeing the evident imprint of the ring on his ring finger.

Noticing that the attractive lady is not interested in him, the guy immediately let the matter off. There's a bunch of fish dancing in this place, he's not on the hurry to find someone to share the lonely night with.

Sigrid's eyes followed the retreating figure of the man. Then her eyes fall back down to the glass of alcohol that still remained untouched.

She can feel the irony that lingers on the tip of her tongue. Because once upon a time she loathe the thought of going into places such as this. It's not the alcohol and music that she hates, it's the people whose eyes were dominated by lust, the people who only seek for a brief pleasure of debauchery.

And now she's here, becoming the kind of person that she loathes. The kind of person that came here for no other reason than sex.

She gulped down the entire cup in one go. Bitter taste assaulted her senses but not enough to clouden her rationality. Her alcohol tolerance is quite high. A single shot is not enough if she aims to get wasted for the night.

Glass after glass, Singrid drank the liquor as if it was just drinking water. Although her consciousness was floating, her conviction is still firm. But no matter how drunk she were, as expected, she can't grow a single desire for the opposite sex.

They said lust was contagious, but why is it that even though her vision was sieged by the erotically grinding bodies on the dance floor, all she felt was nothing but disgust?

She stood up. Of course, by the effect of the alcohol, her legs gone soft. She staggered backwards yet still remained her cool. Her eyes met that of the bartender who gave her a polite smile and a curt nod.

Wearing her 5-inch stilettos, she sunter her way towards the crowded dance floor. Her long wavy hair glowed as light touched it strands. She moved her hips, following the rhythm of the music that weaved their dancing bodies.

Sigrid's pair of sharp eyes squinted as she felt a warm palm explored her exposed waist. Then shuddering as goosebumps washed all over her body.

'I don't like this.' Her mind screamed in alarm.

She took a step in retreat but that devious hands instead gripped her waist to lock her in place. She looked up and her unwilling face met the burning eyes of a man.

She gaped. Not because she was overwhelmed by the raw desire that was directed at her. She's not a stranger to such a look, she became a recipient of such for multiple times already, and every time, instead of feeling the flattery of the intensity of such attention, all she felt was guilt. She gaped because finally it dawned into her that indeed she's here, inside a sex club, trying to test if her lust for the flesh is really non existent or is it only towards for that specific person.

Sigrid only experienced love once. But was betrayed merely because she can't give him the thing that he needs.

Perhaps, she's not here to test herself, perhaps she's her to enact the worst revenge that she can think of. That she's here, willing to give the body he's been desiring for ages to a nameless stranger.

Eyes fueled by revenge, Sigrid tip toed and in the bat of an eye, the lips that was only explored by a single person ever since, is now being shared with a person with a face she can't even clearly see.
