Chapter 4: A Night Out.

 "It seems to me that for the first time Mr. Russo Adriano is slacking on working" the voice said, "as the most sort after surgeon in the country you have too much time on your hands, When did you get here? "Adrian asked looking towards the door where a tall handsome looking young man stood smiling it him, even with the dark circles under his eyes one could still tell that he was really good looking ."ishhh what a shame, for a Don you are a bit too distracted, plus is this how you talk to your only friend?, I am really hurt. Anyways you know why I am here so don't make me wait long." the man said.

 "What is it you want Leo? "Adrian asks him pretending not to know what he was talking about, "maybe I should ask you about it during our dinner with auntie next week" Leo said threating him, "fine, let's head out, I will tell you on the way" Adrian said as they exited the office, he knew Leo very well, he was very inquisitive and apart from his job as a doctor the next thing he does best is to get information, he does whatever it takes to find what he wants, as the under boss he needs to at least be able to put up a convincing argument.

 As they both headed for their usual spot for a drink and most importantly a good time, Adrian explained to Leo how he met Kathrine last night, Leo knew about her because he was the doctor he called on to check on her, Leo was shocked as well that he brought a stranger home, not just a stranger but a girl, worst of all she was in his room. "You seem to love getting involved in my life , now that I have told you I hope you would be able to get enough sleep" When Adrian saw Leo it was evident that he had trouble sleeping last night.

 When Leo heard this and he laughed" what can I say? as your only friend and second in command I worry about you a lot. It wasn't just your strange behavior that kept me up last night, Dante and his men are trying to be troublesome , one more mistake from their end and I will make sure to clip them all" he stated and Adrian laughed, you could feel the tiredness in his voice. Anyone who doesn't know Leo would think he was really nice, well he is, he just doesn't have enough patience to deal with people who stresses him, he always says "all my patience is reserved for the patients in my hospital" Leonardo Colombo really wasn't one you would want to mess with despite his really calm aura.

 The weekend went by quickly but for Katy, it was a too slow, she wanted something to take her mind off her heartbreak , she had made up her mind not to cry about him anymore she wanted to get over him as quickly as possible but Ezekiel would not let her be, he had being calling and texting her non stop, the crazy part is that non of the messages contained a decent apology rather he kept blaming her , it was soo annoying, so much that she had to turn off her phone

 On getting home from work on Thursday, Katy noticed a familiar car parked in front of her building but she pretended not to see it and walked past it "Katy! don't act like you did not see my car, why have you being avoiding my calls and text? "She heard Ezekiel say and she turned to face him "Look here Ezekiel, you have no right to talk to me in that manner, you and I no longer have any business together so stop calling and texting me, if possible please loose my number", Katy said and Ezekiel began to laugh" You are so ungrateful, even after everything I did for you how could you repay me this way? " he said.

 "Everything I ever took from you I paid back so I do not owe you anything at present" Katy stated and walked away and she didn't look back, "I am talking to you and you are walking away, how dare you. Just remember that you are nothing without me and will teach you a lesson not to mess with me" Ezekiel said and stormed off in his car angrily.

 "Did she think she is special?, I am going to make her life she so difficult that she runs back to me, I am the only one allowed to have her , she belongs to me" Ezekiel said to himself . Ezekiel knew how attractive Katy was but he also knows that she isn't aware of it, that was why all through their relationship he treated her like he was doing her a favor by being with her, he compared her to other girls in a way that made her feel like she was really ugly.

 Ezekiel constantly dimmed her light, made her always seek for his approval and finally killed her self-esteem by always talking down on her that why Katy never saw herself as beautiful. he didn't expect her to break up with him over that incident because he thought he had her wrapped around his finger.

 It was 20 minutes past 9am on Friday morning when Katy's boss walked into the company reception where she was "Good morning sir" Katy greeted and he looked at her "Good morning Katy. Come with me, I would like to see you in my office now" he said and she followed him immediately.

 " Please sit Miss Miller ,I really like you so I will tell you this It seems you have offended a certain Mr. Jones , he came to me with an irresistible offer in exchange for firing you but you see Katherine, I could decide to turn down that offer if you bid something better" he said with an uncomfortable smile.

 "Thank you so much Mr. Smith but I don't money or anything of value that I give you sir but I promise to work really hard, please don't fire me sir" Katy begged , "Oh come on Katherine anyone can work hard for my company ,you have something that could be really valuable to me, offer that to me and I could even give you a good promotion and a higher pay" Mr. Smith said adjusting his glasses .

 "I am a bit lost Mr. Smith, what valuable thing do I own?" Katy asked a bit confused, "Come on Kathrine, You know how it is for a man whose wife has already advanced in age, my wife is unable to meet up with my stamina in bed so I need someone young to help with that. The deal is that you help with my sexual needs and in return I will make you comfortable" he said with a huge smile in his face.

 Mr. Smith had always had always wanted to make Katy one of his play things but never knew how to bring it up with her since she never fell into any of his traps, now that an opportunity had presented itself he wanted to make use of it since he could sense her desperation. 

 Katy had always respected her boss, she never believed he could suggest something like this to her, she was suddenly disgusted by him " I am really sorry Mr. Smith but I can't agree with this deal" she said, "This is your termination letter , why don't you think about it" he said not expecting her to turn down the offer. "Thank you very much for everything Mr. Smith, there is nothing to think about anymore" Katy said as she picked up the letter on the table, walked out of the office and headed home to the surprise of her boss.

 Later that day,

 "I can't believe, that son of a b*tch had the audacity to come here to make you take him back and even go as far as to bribe your boss to fire you, If only you had let me cut his tail, I knew I shouldn't have listened to you.... that disgusting boss of yours is another animal, most men are indeed dogs" Jane said pacing around the room.

 "I have told you to just let it go Jane, I will just take my event business more seriously while I keep applying for other Jobs and like I always say violence is not always the answer" Katy who had being watching her best friend pace round the room and cuss uncontrollably for over 20 minutes finally said.

 "We cant let him get away with that , why don't we make his life a little bit uncomfortable , don't worry we will not go as extra as I had planned earlier " Jane tried to convince Katy, "alright then, tell me what you have in mind." Katy finally agreed after much thought ,"that's the spirit girl" Jane said and excitedly jumped on the bed where Katy was seated to discuss the plan.

 The plan was approved by Katy and they planned to execute on Monday morning, "why don't we go out for some drinks tonight, my colleague at the office gave me two passes to one of the most exquisite hangout spots in the city, he was going to go with someone but his date dumped him at the last minutes and since he couldn't let the tickets go to waste and he knew I liked parties he decided to give them to me, and before you say no remember you promised we would go last week but we couldn't go because you were ill" Jane stated and Katy laughed.

 "I wasn't going to say no ,you didn't have to divulge that much information. I am in the mood for some fresh air tonight so I was going to say yes but you have to do my makeup" Katy said and they both laughed .

 At exactly 6:00pm the girls started getting ready ,"don't tell me that is what you are going to be wearing" Jane asked Katy who was trying to put on a long black dress, "what is wrong with dress? this is one of my favorite dress" she said and she saw her best friend shook her head "Look Katy , we are going to a club okay not a dinner, why don't you wear the black dress I got for you on you birthday last year , I have never seen you in that dress" Jane said and Katy took out the dress she had hanged at the extreme end of her wardrobe to try on.

 "Girlll, you really are god damn gorgeous, no one will be able to take their eyes off you tonight" Jane said immediately she saw Katy in the dress, "are you sure about this dress?" Katy asked and Jane made her stand in front of the full length mirror in the room so she could see how well the dress compliments her body. It was a satin dress that hugged her waist tightly which made her hour glass figure more prominent, 

 "sweetie, don't you know that your body was made to carry any dress?, you really look stunning" Jane said trying to convince Katy. Jane was right, Katy had the perfect mix of an African and Italian woman, just like most African women she possessed really huge curves and like the Italian women she has a sexy small waist which makes her able to easily embody any cloth she puts on. "Alright, whatever you say" Katy said finally agreeing to wear the dress, Jane did a very light make up on their faces, since they wanted to leave their hair down , they curled it a bit. At exactly 8:00pm, the girls left for the club in an Uber that they had earlier ordered , while Katy was wearing a black strapless gown which was above her knee with a sliver platform heels, Jane wore a sliver thin strapped short dress which she paired with a black platform heel.
