Edward picked up his and Andrew's spear, lightly jogging to Andrew, still holding down the Ostrich that stopped struggling. It let out a low chirp now and then, already giving up on living.
"That was easy." Edward grinned, happy about his flawless plan.
"Easy for you to say," Andrew grunted, pushing the Ostrich down. "This shit is heavy. Kill it before I lose all my stamina, and it escapes."
"Ok, wait a minute." Edward opened up the system navigation, going to the part he never went before, party.
[Add nearby/friends to your party] A screen popped up. Focusing on the nearby, another interference popped up. [Andrew Evans: Level ???], [Leonardo Romano: Level ???]. Focusing on Andrew Evans, a new interference popped up, [Party request sent].
Edward saw no need to add Leonardo, as he didn't help with the hunt. Even though they are best friends, he won't share this Exp with someone who didn't do anything.
Andrew seemed to have gotten the party request, evident by his expression. Looking up at Edward, who nodded, he returned to staring into space.
[Andrew Evans has joined the party]

[Do you wish to show your party members your level? Yes/No] A prompt popped up.
Andrew seemed to have picked yes because his level, which is 2, now showed. Wanting to be even, Edward chose yes, his level also appearing on the party screen.
"Yo...you are in level 3?" Andrew stammered, squinting at Edward.
Edward nodded, picking up one spear and stabbing it on Ostrich's neck. It struggled for some time before going limp and dying. Opening his system log, Edward saw that the Ostrich was a level 2, and it awarded him 15 Exp.
\If a Monsters below level 5 is killed as a team, the Exp won't be shared amongst team members. Each member would receive the full Exp the monster gives\
The system answered his question before Edward could even ask. 'That's good, I guess.' He thought, looking down at the dead Ostrich. 'But this level 2 was weaker than I thought.' His eyes went down to its strong legs, mumbling, "It might have put all its stats to its legs, so its kicks should have been able to gravely injury me."
He hypothesized that it would be easier or harder to hunt monsters of the same level depending on the monster's build. Edward looked at the three Cheetahs still resting from their hunt, knowing that they would be harder to kill even though they were at the same level as the Ostrich.
"How did you get to level three?" Andrew asked, pulling Edward from his deep thought. "I killed more monsters than you, so how are you at level 3 while I am at level 2?"
Edward looked to Andrew, who was frowning with lines forming between his eyebrows. "I got lucky and regained my level from the game." Pointing at the bag tied to his left wrist, "And one of my items."
Andrew's eyes went to the bag, "I have been meaning to ask but never saw the perfect chance. What is that."
"An inventory. But it can only hold 30 pounds of items." Edward said, picking up the dead Ostrich and putting it on his back. Due to its massive size, he had to be hunch to let the Ostrich stay on his back. "Ugh!" He grunted, finding it heavier than expected.
Andrew didn't bother to offer help, his mind still on the fact he was out leveled. He looked at Edward, struggling to walk with the Ostrich on his back. 'I need to level up.' He thought to himself, following Edward.
"What are you doing? Get the spears." Edward's words brought Andrew back to reality as he went to pick up the spears.
The two of them walked past the Cheetahs, still resting from their hunt beside their prey, who just stared at them as they went by. It looks like hunting that one Ostrich had taken a lot out of, while Edward and Andrew did it with no problem.
"You two are brave," Leonardo said, jogging up to them. "To be able to hunt while three wild animals were watching you."
"Cheetahs don't attack humans unless provoked," Andrew explained, gesturing at them. "Besides, look how tired they are. Those fuckers are the weakest cat. Even dogs can demolish them. All they have is their speed."
"Cheetahs are not aggressive to humans, not like a Leopard or a Tiger can be… I don't think they see humans as food. Maybe a baby, but not an adult person." Edward agreed, putting the Ostrich down under the tree and leaning on it to rest. "We will have to take turns carrying this thing back."
"I assume we will eat that but are we supposed to?" Leonardo asked, gesturing to the dead Ostrich.
"Who cares? Birds are birds." Andrew shrugged, handing both spears to Leonardo and picking up the Ostrich. "Let's get going."

Elizabeth woke up to screams and shouts, sitting up and rubbing her eyes. Her blond hair was messy, scattered around her face. Removing some strand of hair from her face, she blinked multiple times, taking in the surroundings.
She found herself sitting under the tree in the middle of the savanna with more than 100 people around her arguing and shouting. Their rage was directed at two men in the middle of them.
One is middle-aged massive, standing more than 6'7" tall. He is a heavily built man, with muscles bulging around his body, which made him look fat under his burlap sack dress. He was bald, his head glistening under the sun of the savanna. A thick, braided, brown beard covered his chin and ran down to his chest.
The other one had caramel skin, standing around 6'1" tall. His dark hair was styled in a wave fade haircut, with a newly cut beard and side beard. He had a sharp jawline, sharp brown eyes, and a straight hairline.
"All you fucker are hypocrites!" He shouted, causing those around him to back up. "What did you--"
"Shut up, you fiend!" A woman cut him off with a scream, pointing at him. "You supported those two devils to murder a mother's child!"
"Men like you are the ones who support abortion!" Another shout came from the group.
Those simple words allowed her to guess what this outrage was for. 'Oh, god.' She thought with a groan, rubbing the bridge of her nose. 'What a bunch of dumbasses. They know those two saved their lives, but they still act like this.'
"Are you okay, Elizabeth?" Emma's voice came, sounding worried. Looking up, she found Emma leaning over her with a furrowed brow.
"I am." Elizabeth smiled in response. 'Another hypocrite.' She sighed internally.
Standing up, she quickly fixed her hair into a simple bun. She proceeded to watch the public outrage, arm folded. She wanted to support the two men, but in doing so, she would lose all the respect and trust of the majority of the people. It was a bothersome situation.
"What to do, what to do..." She mumbled, tapping her feet on the ground.
"I know some of you agree with what we did. You all can be THIS stupid!" The dark skin man shouted, scanning the group of people, trying to find someone who isn't a hypocrite. His eyes stopped at the pondering Elizabeth as he pointed at her. "I know you believe in what we did."
Due to his question directed at her, eyes turned to her, all attention now on her. 'Oh, fuck.'
