Chapter: 58 Goku is cured

The wedding is in full swing, but unlike before, Kahn doesn't have to worry about the details this time. Bulma can handle it.

What Kahn needs to focus on now is solving Son Goku's heart problem before the wedding.

Currently, medical technology on Earth cannot cure heart disease, and the Senzu Beans from Korin can heal wounds but not the disease itself. So, Kahn only has two options.

First, he could gather all the Dragon Balls within three days and make a wish to Shenron to cure Son Goku's heart disease.

Second, he could appeal to Whis and ask for his help to heal Son Goku. After all, Angel staff can even resurrect the dead, so curing a heart attack should be a trivial matter.

Kahn leans more toward the latter.

However, in the Dragon Ball world, Kahn prefers not to rely on the Dragon Balls unless necessary. If he didn't, he could have simply wished for an endless fortune by collecting all the Dragon Balls.

But now, he has no choice.

Kahn ascends a hill and calls to the sky, "Whis, can you hear me?"

A moment later, following Kahn's call, the Whis Angel staff far away on Beerus's planet responds.

"Oops, Mr. Kahn," Whis says with a chuckle after briefly checking to see who was calling. "What's the matter? I just left for a day, did you miss me?"

Kahn sighs, feeling exasperated. "Don't make trouble. I need to talk business."

"Ah, I see. What's going on? Feel free to tell me."

Kahn states his request clearly. "It's about Son Goku's heart disease."

After a brief pause, Whis laughs cheerfully. "Oh, hehe, Mr. Kahn, why don't you go over to Mr. Son Goku's house?"

Kahn is stunned. "What do you mean?"

Whis explains, "I mean, check if Son Goku's heart disease has been cured. If it hasn't, call me again."

"Okay, Mr. Kahn, I've got things to do here. I wish you all the best!" Whis finishes with a lighthearted tone, then ends the conversation.

Kahn stands there for a moment, confused. "Could it be that Kakarot's heart disease will heal on its own?"

He shakes it off. "No matter what, I'll go check it out at Baozi Mountain."

Son Goku's family is a tight-knit group, and now, Son Goku is the only one with an unresolved problem.

Kahn quickly casts the Flying Technique and vanishes into the sky.

When he arrives at Baozi Mountain, Kahn finds that Son Goku's family isn't there. Son Goku, Chichi, and Son Gohan are all absent.

After a brief pause, Kahn leaves quickly and heads straight to West City Hospital.

West City Hospital is the largest in the city and has the most advanced medical technology in the world.

Inside the emergency room on the 13th floor, Son Goku has just suffered another heart attack, and the medicine didn't help.

Son Gohan and Chichi rushed Son Goku to the hospital for emergency treatment. Outside, Chichi and Son Gohan anxiously wait. Chichi looks haggard, her face filled with worry, aged by the stress.

If Son Goku dies from the heart attack, Chichi doesn't know what she'll do.

Suddenly, a figure enters through the window.

It's Kahn.

"Uncle Kahn!" Son Gohan exclaims, his face lighting up with relief at the sight of Kahn.

For reasons he can't fully explain, Son Gohan always feels a sense of peace when Kahn is around. Deep down, he believes Kahn can solve any problem.

Kahn ruffles Son Gohan's hair and motions for him to calm down before turning to Chichi. "Sister, how's Goku doing?"

"His heart attack came back, and the medicine isn't working..." Chichi's voice breaks with sorrow.

"Don't worry. He'll be fine," Kahn reassures her.

Just then, the emergency room door opens. A doctor in a white coat and mask steps out.

The three of them rush over.

"Doctor, how's Goku? Is his heart disease curable?" Chichi asks urgently.

The doctor sighs and shakes his head.

Chichi's heart sinks. "What?"

The doctor pauses, then calls inside, "Mr. Son Goku, you can come out now."

A moment later, Son Goku, alive and well, appears with a sunny smile on his face.

The doctor explains, "Madam, Mr. Son Goku has fully recovered from his heart disease."

Kahn is stunned. He repeats, "Doctor, what happened?"

The doctor waves it off. "It doesn't matter. What's important is that Mr. Son Goku's heart disease has completely healed. This is the first case of its kind. You can go home now."

"Really?" Chichi asks, still in disbelief. "Goku, how do you feel?"

"I feel... relaxed," Son Goku replies with a wide grin. "I've never felt so good in my life. My body feels amazing."

Chichi is speechless, not knowing how to process the situation. Is this the cure for a terminal illness? She's having trouble believing it. But seeing Son Goku's energetic and healthy appearance, she realizes that he truly seems to be fine now. She has never seen him in such good spirits since his heart attack began.

Kahn thinks hard, trying to make sense of it. Could it be that Earth's medical technology has advanced so quickly? But that doesn't seem right. Even with advanced medical tech, curing a terminal illness that quickly seems impossible.

Suddenly, Kahn remembers Whis's words from earlier. Whis had seemed to know in advance, and his tone implied that he already knew Son Goku's heart disease had been cured.

Kahn looks out the window, in the direction of his home.

"Is that you? Wife... No, Angel Vados!" he murmurs, realization dawning on him.
