Douluo Dalu 1: Big Brother Of Ning Rongrong.

---One chapter a day and support this fanfic with power stones if you like it--- (Synopsis Inspired by Spirit_Everywhere's Idea.) What if the Goddess of Nine-Colors, Ning Rongrong had a brother? What if the greatest support clan in the world gave birth to a child who possessed the strongest offensive spirit? How would the child change the fate of this cruel yet beautiful world? It was simple. The Spirit Hall is being threatened of it's position! The Clear Sky Clan is being challenged of it's title as the greatest offensive spirit tool clan! A single slash to separate the heaven and earth, two slashes to destroy the sun and moon, three slashes to annihilate a world, and four slashes to obliterate the universe. The fifth slash? 'He' slashes apart his own destiny and fate, taking control of his life and the life of the others with his sword. 'He' was hailed as the strongest and unparalleled god. And this is 'his' story. This is the tale of Ning Chen and his journey across the land of battle spirits — from the weakest mortal to the strongest swordsman and finally to a God, whose name must not be spoken. --- I am the god of all swords, a dragonblood warrior and possessor of the strongest body. This is my story. --- A/N: This is an Alternate Universe Of Soul Land, so things like sword intent exist here. This also inspired from 9 Treasure Sword, so there might be some similarities. I'm a beginner writer, so don't expect much from me because there are gonna be a lot of mistakes and things you might not like. Cover not mine. I don't know who made it because I just found it randomly on Google. If you want me to remove it, I'll do so.

Chapter 4

Chapter 4 — Leaving.

"Mom, please don't let anyone enter my bedroom for the time being," Ning Chen briefly said before entering inside his room.

Ning Xiao'er didn't tried to stop him for more explanation since he looked very exhausted.

She instead went toward Ning Fengzhi to discuss what happened at Ning Chen's ceremony.

Ning Chen sat on the bed, feeling his headache getting worse, causing him to sweat profusely. He soon lost his consciousness, falling into a very deep sleep.

He had a strange yet wonderful dream. He suddenly found himself inside a nine-colored space with a floating sword at the very center.

The sword was inside an ancient scabbard that looked exactly the same as his own spirit.

A large domineering ancient dragon was also slowly revolving around the sword.

Ning Chen stared at the dragon that had many shining nine-colored scales covering it's body and found it very beautiful.

He didn't feel afraid of it and was just constantly hearing faint whispers echoing inside his head.

It was telling him to call out a name.

The name of the sword that will make the heaven and earth to tremble in fear.

And Ning Chen actually did it.

He extended his hand toward the sword floating at the distance and quietly called out it's name.

"Come forth, the Sword Of Nine Color—Kel'al!"

The sword began to shine ominously with the dragon releasing a roar that sounded like a thunder.

The sword and the dragon became one, charging toward Ning Chen at a breath-taking speed which caused him to close his eyes in fright.

The pain he had expected to appear didn't came. Everything just became a complete silent.

When Ning Chen opened his eyes once again, he was back in reality. He stood up from his bed and felt his back being drenched in cold sweat.

Taking a deep breath, Ning Chen's eyes sharpened as he took a sword drawing stance despite not holding a sword.

"Kel'al!" He yelled out, causing nine-colored light to explode out from his left hand.

A thunder-like dragon roar resounded through the air. A longsword inside a scabbard appeared within his grasp.

Ning Chen quickly draw the longsword out from it's scabbard. The scabbard turned into many particles and got absorbed into the mouth of the dragon-shaped hand guard.

The sword and the scabbard wasn't a separate entity, but was actually a single entity.

Ning Chen held the longsword with both of his hands and felt no discomfort when he was holding it.

He tried swinging it like a bat for several times and felt it was also on the lighter side.

Ning Chen summoned back the scabbard and while observing it, he felt a faint spiritual connection with it

He tried to mentally control the scabbard to float and it actually floated mid-air, but it was taking all of his concentration to control it.

This means he couldn't focus on others while controlling it.

Ning Chen returned the sword back to his body and felt tired after using it. He guessed that his spirit power was consumed.

Now that he started walking down the path of being a spirit master, Ning Chen wondered on what he was going to do next.

He had learned about something called the law of the jungle from the wise scholar.

The wise scholar told him that the weak only ends up being bullied by the strong, so improving his strength was necessary to protect himself and his family from this dangerous world.

Ning Chen thought that leaving the clan to explore the outside world was the best way to grow stronger.

After thinking and hesitating for awhile, he finally made his final decision to leave the clan for several years.

With those thoughts in his mind, Ning Chen left his bedroom and went to meet with his father and mother.

....

A few days later.

After hearing Ning Chen wanted to leave the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan to explore the world for five years, Ning Fengzhi didn't agreed with him since he was still too young.

Ning Chen, however didn't back down from this and continued to pursue them. He was unyielding and extremely persistent.

He was stubborn because he strongly felt he needed to get stronger immediately.

Ning Fengzhi and Ning Xiao'er in the end could only helplessly accept his wish under a few conditions seeing him being too persistent.

Ning Chen first needed to learn how to cultivate and control his spirit power. They also added the phases of absorbing the spirit ring.

He was then instructed to at least master their clan's secret technique—the heart separation control technique to the first level.

Ning Chen was then told to not explore too far from their clan and needed to join an organization where he could develop his combat skills.

He accepted all of their condition since he knew they were just extremely worried about him.

He spent one month learning under his parents guidance which made him successfully learned how to cultivate and control his spirit power perfectly.

He also managed to master the first level of the heart separation control technique—the First Aperture Of Foundation Heart.

Just like name itself, the first level only povided him the foundation to master the future levels of the technique.

It also made his ability to memorize things better, and increased his comprehension ability slightly.

The next level was called the Two Aperture Of Control Heart. This level would allow someone to control two things at the same time accurately, and increase their spiritual strength or mental power.

This level would also solve his problem of controlling the scabbard of Kel'al.

Ning Chen spent the rest of his time with his family because he would be gone for a very long time.

...

Ning Chen stood infront of the large iron gate of their clan and then turned his head around to look at his family.

Ning Fengzhi sighed looking at him before taking something out from his pocket.

"Ning Chen, I'll gift this spatial storage with you. It contains several spirit coins and also your daily necessities like clothes," Ning Fengzhi explained while handing him a golden ring.

Ning Chen carefully received it and observed the golden ring. The golden ring had a coiling dragon design and looked very expensive.

He equipped it on his finger and it fitted nicely.

"Thank you for the gift, Father," Ning Chen said smiling widely.

Ning Fengzhi nodded, feeling satisfied to see his son liking the gift he carefully picked.

"Ning Chen, don't trust anyone outside easily. Be careful and don't attract any danger," Ning Xiao'er said worriedly.

"I'll keep it in mind, Mother."

"Big bro, return early and safe, okay?" Ning Rongrong said, her eyes moistening.

Ning Chen approached her with a smile. He gave her a kiss toward the forehead.

"Don't make any trouble for Father and Mother while I'm gone, okay? You also need to be kind and humble to the others because...?" Ning Chen stopped purposely on the end to let his sister continue herself.

"—Because of the evil monster that looks like us! If I made them angry, I will be in danger!" Ning Rongrong said while looking slightly afraid.

"Correct! You're very smart," Ning Chen rubbed her hair as a reward.

"Hehe~" Rongrong giggled cutely after hearing Ning Chen's praise.

Ning Chen made his final goodbye to them and started to walk out of their clan for the very first time.

His heart started to beat rapidly as he was about to embark on his first ever journey!

....

Ning Chen's mother, Ning Xiao'er will not die in this AU. I'm tired of seeing the protagonist parents always being dead.

She isn't that all important in this fanfic, so nothing major would happen.
