The ship finally got to it's destination. London. It was quite busy and everywhere was rowdy and crowdy, even when it was quite very early in the morning.

Coming down, I smiled at some children who played nearby. Williams followed beside me with a bandaged cheek.....

"We need to find this old friend of yours" I said clutching unto my bag tightly. This mysterious words must be unraveled

"I know where he stays, I've been keeping tabs on him for years now" Williams told me with a good old smile

"my lady"

I turned back noticing it was valnor's voice.

"hello again valnor, looks like fate brought us back" I moved towards him with a bright spirit

"you must be right my lady, so you are in London for some investigations?" he asked me

"that's correct valnor" of course, the strange writings and the disappearing people were investigations, no lying there.

"you can stay at my place, there's...." before valnor could finish speaking, Williams cut in

"we really don't need your help, that's enough for one day" he spat the words disrespectfully at valnor who still retained his cool

"Williams!" I shot a glare at him before apologizing for his sake, "I'm so sorry valnor, he's sometimes like this!"

"I truly understand...."

"we will stay valnor" I declared with a slight smile

"WHAT!" William's face was priceless and his expression was quite rare, gently pulling me away from valnor, he whispered softly

"you just meet this man by luck or fate, will you just freely enter his house?"

"you also just met this man, will you just shout at him or act inappropriately and rude?" I sent the question back at him with another word

"look Lee I don't trust him" he told me

"you never trust anyone, including me sometimes" I left the conversation with an angry face

"if you go, I follow!" he suddenly spoke up

"hmmmm?" where my ears deceiving me again

"I said I will follow you Lee, I would just let you go into dangers and traps that are clearly in front of me, I'll follow" Williams walked up to me assuring his stay

"thanks alot Williams" I went to valnor who didn't move an inch, "looks like we're on the same page Val"

"okay, and also I almost forgot you gave me that wonderful nickname" he said shaking his head, "anyways the carriage would be here in no time"

Valnor was an elegant looking man but there were secrets with him, the way he smiled and talk, always holding back his anger, this man is someone who has deep pasts.

The carriage finally came and it was looking expensive, the butler rode it and I was quite shocked

"when did he leave the ship..... maybe I wasn't been so attentive and I'm a detective, how silly of me!" I told myself before entering the carriage

Williams also entered muttering some words in anger or was it jealousy?, I didn't know because his face was always unreadable.

Anyways, the journey to valnor's home started, to me another adventure will soon start and mysteries will be loaded waiting to be unlocked
