Defeat The Darkness Quest

"Is there really no new quest? Like a special one? I want to see how strong I've become after training for the past 20 days!" Ishida exclaimed as he wrapped up his morning routine, something he had grown accustomed to recently.

Over these 20 days, Ishida noticed a significant change in himself, thanks to the system's assistance. He felt he was no longer just a regular human; he was something more, something special.

Initially, he would prepare and eat meals like anyone else. But soon, he discovered that even if he skipped meals, with system rewarding him with full recovery after completing his daily tasks and training. This meant he never felt hunger in the usual way anymore.

Ishida sat in the garden, eagerly scanning the screen for any updates about a new quest after finishing the system's Daily Quest.

"Wait, The quest is unknown, the rewards are also unknown !? So you are not going to give any information regarding the quest at all !?" Ishida asked in confusion.

[QUEST LEVEL : 6]

'Quest level !? My level is currently, 11 - so level 6 quest should be easier for me' Ishida thought, as he questioned straightforwardly, "What was the level of the previous quest ?!"

[SURVIVAL QUEST - LV. 2]

"Level 2!? Does that mean this quest will be three times harder than the last one!?" Ishida wondered aloud, a hint of excitement in his voice. Suddenly, a slight smirk appeared on his face. "That's exactly what I wanted to hear," he thought. "I want to challenge myself with this quest, so the tougher it is, the better."

"Yes! I'm ready for the quest!" he exclaimed with excitement.

The moment those words left his lips, he got up quickly. Just like before, everything around him suddenly turned pitch black.

After waiting a little, he felt solid ground beneath his feet again. This time, though, it wasn't the soft grass he had expected; it was something much harder. Even when he opened his eyes, he was surprised to find that nothing had changed—the darkness surrounded him completely.

"Wait... wait... how am I supposed to fight in this pitch-black darkness?" Ishida murmured softly, almost to himself.

He found himself in a massive cave, completely engulfed in darkness. There wasn't a hint of natural light to be seen, making it impossible to see anything at all.

What Ishida didn't know was that the cave was crawling with Demons. These creatures were hungry for his blood, ready to pounce and tear him apart in this dark abyss.

'I should have worked on my sensing skills more,' Ishida thought, feeling frustrated with himself.

Suddenly, he detected movement around him. With no other option, he shut his eyes, trying to concentrate all his energy on his sensing ability to pinpoint the demons lurking nearby.

'Focus... focus... take a deep breath!' he reminded himself. As soon as he felt an attack coming from his left, he immediately lifted his sword to defend himself. The force behind the attack was powerful, making it tough to block, but he managed to push back with all his strength, sending the demon flying backward.

Ishida quickly tried to regain his focus, attempting to sense how many demons surrounded him. 'I'm not entirely sure, but there must be at least 15 demons around me,' he thought, feeling the enormity of the challenge.

Can Ishida overcome this daunting obstacle and defeat all the demons in such difficult conditions?
