Chapter 1Prologue:World Backstory

In the vast expanse of the universe, countless realms existed, each serving its purpose and housing various beings. But among them, one realm reigned supreme: the god realm, a place beyond mortal comprehension. Here, time flowed differently, and power surged endlessly through the very fabric of existence. The god realm, however, was not a unified domain but one split by a chasm as ancient as creation itself. It was divided into two immense territories—the realm of light, or the positive god realm, and the realm of darkness, or the negative god realm.

The gods residing in these territories were separated by the nature of their divine energies. In the negative god realm, all gods wielded dark, chaotic, and often destructive energies, energies that drove fear and commanded respect in the mortal realm below. These negative gods were rulers of shadows and chaos, embodying aspects like death, destruction, and rage. On the opposite side, the positive god realm was a tranquil, luminous space where the gods of light resided. These positive gods controlled energies of harmony, healing, and protection, embodying attributes such as peace, prosperity, and happiness.

The Essence of Divinity

At the heart of each god's existence lay their divine energy—a force that defined them, fueled them, and shaped their powers. Divine energy was the essence of a god's being, enabling them to manipulate reality and exert influence over their domains in the mortal world. Without this energy, a god was no more than a shadow of their former self, powerless and vulnerable.

For a mortal, divine energy was unattainable unless chosen by destiny or the energies themselves. A mortal who was blessed or imbued with divine energy would instantly ascend, bypassing all paths of mortal cultivation to become a god. This mortal-turned-god would be drawn immediately to the god realm, finding a place in either the positive or negative territories based on the nature of their newly acquired divine essence.

Balance of Opposites

In this universe governed by balance, every entity had an opposite. For every god in the negative realm, there was an equivalent in the positive realm, a divine counterpart intrinsically linked to them. These pairs were bound by an immutable connection, ensuring that one could not exist without the other. If a god of darkness were to perish, so too would their positive counterpart, and vice versa. This cosmic law preserved equilibrium between light and darkness, preventing either side from tipping the scales in its favor.

First restriction

The gods, though they wielded unfathomable power, were restricted by the foundational laws of the god realm. The first and most sacred rule was that no god could kill another within the god realm. This rule was enforced by the god emperors, the supreme rulers of each territory. The god of positivity ruled over the positive realm, while the god of negativity held dominion over the negative. Each emperor ensured that peace reigned within their respective realms, preventing conflict from erupting and leading to a catastrophic event known as the God's Void.

The God's Void was the ultimate punishment for violating this rule. If a god were killed in their realm, it would create a void—a celestial catastrophe capable of consuming everything in its path. To avoid such a disaster, the gods upheld the rule strictly, for they knew that even their immortality was at stake if the balance was disturbed. For this ultimate punishment, both realms would suffer since for every pure god there was a dark one. Even so there was a way to avoid it,we'll come back to it soon.

The Second Restriction

The second rule governing the god realm was equally critical, though less tangible. Unlike the first, which could be enforced, the second rule was a natural law of the universe: gods of opposing realms could not exist within the same space. This meant that no negative god could enter the positive realm and vice versa. This rule was as fundamental as gravity, impossible to break or circumvent. The energies of light and dark would repel each other with such force that crossing the divide was not merely forbidden but physically unachievable.

With only these two restrictions to abide by, the gods enjoyed relative freedom in all other matters. They held dominion over their realms and wielded immense influence in the mortal world. However, despite their powers, the gods remained bound by the laws of balance, a testament to the order and structure that governed the universe.

Loophole in the first restriction

Though killing a god within the god realm was impossible without dire consequences, it did not mean that gods were invincible. In realms outside their divine domain, gods could indeed fall. For instance, a god could be slain in the mortal world without triggering the God's Void. If such a fate befell a deity, their divine energy would be released, scattering across the cosmos in search of a new vessel. This process could take centuries, or even millennia, but eventually, the divine energy would find a mortal worthy of bearing it, thus maintaining the cycle of divinity.

Crucially, this death would not affect the divine counterpart of the fallen god, allowing the linked god to survive. If the god of anger were to perish in the mortal realm, for example, the god of happiness would remain unaffected so long as they were in separate realms. Thus, while the god realm was bound by restrictions, the other realms offered loopholes that allowed divine conflicts to unfold without risking universal calamity. This loophole was often used by the negative gods, the positive gods, used this loophole too,but it occurred in rare cases.

Purpose of the Gods

The gods were not mere observers of existence; they played a pivotal role in shaping reality. Each god held dominion over an aspect of the world, from tangible elements like fire and water to abstract concepts like justice and chaos. Their actions influenced the mortal realm profoundly. When the god of chaos stirred, war and conflict erupted among mortals. The god of peace, on the other hand, would respond by weaving harmony back into the world, counterbalancing the discord.

However, the gods did not intervene in mortal affairs,if there was no divine actions within them. If only when it was deemed absolutely necessary would say for example the god of peace, intervene to solve the mortal conflicts caused by mortals.Mortal conflicts remained untouched unless they threatened the balance of existence itself. The gods believed that mortals must learn from their own trials, and thus, they refrained from meddling unless the stakes were cosmic.
