Yuan Li's anger

Bai Liyue left the room but still didn't see Yuan Li following behind her. She chuckled and turned back towards the room. When she entered inside, she saw Yuan Li standing in the middle of the room in a daze. A look of mockery flashed through her eyes when she saw the broken and dull expression on her face.

Is this stupid?

Humph! She snorted in her heart.

Just wait and watch Yuan Li, this is just the beginning of your misery.

Bai Liyue smiled innocently and snapped her finger in front of Yuan Li's face. "Yuan Li, what's wrong with you? Why are still standing here like a stupid person? Are you okay? Didn't you want to leave? Wait, Yuan Li, did you fall in love with this room? Do you want to stay here forever?"

Yuan Li: "..." (Why do I feel like you are cursing me for staying here till my death? This is a hospital room, not a luxurious palace? Why does she want to stay here?!?!?)

"Z-ziyue, weren't you going to stay? What happened?" Yuan Li asked with a depressing look on her face.

"Oh that, I changed my mind," Bai Liyue shrugged.

"Huh? What?"

Bai Liyue smiled innocently and patted Yuan Li's shoulder. "I mean, I was kidding with you, Yuan Li. I was never going to stay here. Just look at this place. It's so depressing. The sooner I leave this place, the better. Moreover, the discharge papers have been signed. Then why would I stay here?"

Hearing her words, Yuan Li couldn't react for a while. She was completely stunned. For a moment, the thought of killing Chen Ziyue crossed her mind when she realized that Chen Ziyue was kidding with her the whole time. She never planned to stay in this room.

Ah!!!! Her money.....

All of her money was gone because of this woman. She lost such a good opportunity of earning money and hence, she couldn't help but glance at Chen Ziyue unhappily.

Bai Liyue smiled, pretending not to see the anger in her agent's eyes. The more unhappy her agent was, the happier she was. "Let's go. The car must be waiting for us downstairs," she said sweetly, turned around, and left the room. This time, she didn't look back and didn't care about her agent anymore.

As soon as Chen Ziyue left, Yuan Li let out a loud roar. "Ahh!!!! You damn woman!!!!" she fumed. She was so angry, so unhappy. How could Chen Ziyue joke about this matter? What was wrong with her? She couldn't help but want to slap Chen Ziyue and get back all the money she had lost from her. But soon, she took a deep breath and calmed down.

Another thought crossed her mind. Did Chen Ziyue know something?

She did not know. As soon as the reporters and paparazzi were gone, Chen Ziyue decided to leave the room. The timing of both incidents was too coincidental and it made her think more. She needed to figure this out before planning her next step. With this thought, Yuan Li quickly smoothened her expressed and left the room hastily to catch up to her artist.

Dream Galaxy Apartments.

One month later.

After coming back from the hospital, Bai Liyue took a rest for another one more month. This was not only to get familiar with Chen Ziyue's life as much as possible but also to plan her next move. These days, she was secretly working on her acting skills, improving her strength, and as well looking for clues everywhere.

The first thing she needed to do was to clean her damaged reputation. And, for that, she hired a private detective who would help her in locating that businessman with whom she was allegedly having an affair, and at the same time, he was also helping her in looking for clues for the incident which happened to her at the party.

She wanted to know whether this suicide was really done by Chen Ziyue or was someone playing a ghost behind the screens.

Until now, she couldn't find much about the suicide incident but the private investigator did dig up a lot about the businessman. She glanced at the information at hand and a cold light flashed through her eyes. Apparently, Chen Ziyue was framed in the entire matter. There was no affair between her and the businessman.

It was all an act done by the businessman to protect the woman he was actually having an affair with. He pushed everything on her and framed her to protect someone else. However, in her investigation, she couldn't find the person that the businessman was trying to protect. If only, she knew the woman he was trying to protect, then everything would be easy to deal with.

Bai Liyue sighed. She couldn't help but feel sad for the original owner. Such an innocent person like Chen Ziyue lost her life because of such a lie.

She sighed again, looked up, and looked at the lonely apartment. Though Chen Ziyue's apartment suited her taste, but it was too lonely. Except for her, there was no one around. Chen Ziyue liked to live alone. Hence, there was not even a housekeeper or a servant staying in the apartment besides her. She couldn't help but wonder how Chen Ziyue was able to live in such a big apartment, all by herself.

Didn't she feel lonely and depressed?

But then again, after knowing a little about Chen Ziyue's life, she got to know that Chen Ziyue rarely stayed at the apartment. Most of the time, she would stay in the studio, or in hotel rooms. With her wild lifestyle, most of her night would be spent in clubs and parties while some of them were in Song Ning's apartment.

Looking at the lonely apartment, Bai Liyue decided to hire a servant or two. She did not want to live all by herself. She wasn't used to it. In her previous life, before marriage, she was surrounded by her family members while after marriage, Qin Yufeng never left her alone. Hence, this sudden change was too much for her.

Strangely, even after getting discharged from the hospital, Chen Ziyue's family never contacted her. Though Song Ning and Su Jingyun wanted to come over to meet her, but she refused them with several excuses. For now, she did not want to see those two people.
