Zero held on to Lily's hand as they entered the lift. When they exited the lift on the floor where his mother was staying, he noted Messi was at the door, guarding it.
Despite wanting to be low-key, her security was still important.
The floor had a couple of suites, so it made guarding it simpler. Not many people would come to this floor unless they were either the occupants or the hotel staff.
Upon seeing Zero coming, Messi immediately stood at attention, placed a fist over his chest where his heart is and made a 30 degrees bow, saying, "Your Highness."
Zero's face was stone cold, staring at Messi while Lily nearly fell down in shock.
Not just at the manner of greeting but at the fact that it *finally* hit her that Zero was royalty.
Somehow, it didn't click in her mind at all.
Then, she remembered what Zero told her.
To just be herself.
And they were here just to meet his mother.
