An impressive double kill, the hero chosen by Basil Jaak once again had easily eliminated his two opponents, but before he could rush over to reap the rewards, the computer screen announced that he had lost again.
"Damn!" Basil Jaak was aggravated. This was already his fifth defeat; he was really taking a beating this afternoon.
Although he had lost five games in a row, the blame couldn't quite land on Basil Jaak. The main problem was that his teammates were simply too terrible, either being killed recklessly or watching idly as their towers got destroyed. Even someone as valiant and skilled as Basil Jaak couldn't carry against such useless teammates!
Basil Jaak put down his keyboard, just as he was about to get a cup of tea, his phone started to ring.
"Basil Jaak, where are you now?" Xenia Wendleton asked on the phone.
I thought you'd ignore me for the rest of your life, didn't expect you to call me so soon. Basil Jaak chuckled discreetly and said into the phone, "I'm at work."
