"I just made a bet with Kayson that you two would come in soon, and here you are. What a coincidence! Now that you two are here, I'll leave you to chat. I have things to do," Basil Jaak nonchalantly put down Kayson, waved at Wendy and Amanda, and prepared to make his exit.
Unexpectedly, Wendyblocked Basil Jaak's way out on purpose.
"What a coincidence indeed! But from the way you talk, it seems like Amanda and I are interrupting you two. If that's the case, we'll be on our way," Wendy replied, about to drag Amanda by the arm to leave.
Kayson became anxious and hurried over to stop Wendy. "Wendy, don't listen to that guy's nonsense. I just happened to trip and fall on him," he pleaded.
"So, how did you find his embrace? Is it as warm as you imagined?" Wendy teased.
"Go to hell! Can't you think of anything good?" Kayson gave Wendy a sidelong glance, then glared at Basil Jaak, and grumpily said, "Aren't you leaving? Are you planning to treat us to a meal or something?"
