Chapter 12: Job Application (Part 1)_1

The Cloud Shadow Company, being the largest real estate company in the city, has attracted a crowd even just for hiring ordinary security guards. Basil Jaak saw a crowd at the entrance of the company, a lot of people were discussing something, and the whole scene seemed like a meeting was in progress.

"Uncle, are you here for the interview too?" Basil Jaak walked up to a middle-aged man and offered him a Red River cigarette.

The middle-aged man politely accepted the cigarette handed over by Basil Jaak, tucked it behind his ear, and nodded, "Yeah! I roamed around the talent market and found that this place has the lowest requirements and the highest pay."

A monthly salary of two thousand five hundred for a security guard was certainly not something every company could afford, perhaps only a company as wealthy as Cloud Shadow could be this generous.
