Henry's face brightened "Of course, they were six in number, one of them dashed into the inner part of the museum before any fight could start. I completely forgot," he muttered inwardly

"Alright gather more information and see if you can track the theif," the agent added

"I'm going to need you to come with us, but don't worry, it's only an invitation," he continued directing his gaze at Xavier

Xavier nodded "Sure, whatever you need," he said knowing fully well that it was indeed an invitation, but one he cannot reject.

"Alright kid, head back to the hotel and rest, I'll be going with them now. Don't worry about me though, Jane should be back by the end of the week, she'll get in touch with you," Xavier said

Henry nodded "Thanks for everything," he muttered

Xavier smiled "You saved my life first remember, think of it as us getting even now," he whispered before also exiting the museum. He got into the agent's mini-ship and took off with them

Henry also left the museum, he was filled with euphoria, as he trekked back to the hotel staring at the system notifications in front of him

"Hmm, that reminds me, i haven't completed today's mile run, better do that right away," Henry muttered, closing the system's interface as he began to sprint with impressive speed

He ran all the way back to the hotel, entered the suite and went for a swim at the infinity pool, relaxing and letting off some steam

An hour later, he came out of the pool, the sun was already gone, and the moon had yet to bloom.

He had dinner before going to lay on his bed, opening the system again, but before he could glance through it's screen, Miley spoke

Henry was quiet, his expression cold and uncaring, he remained silent for a while before opening his mouth

"Maybe it's just the real me that you can't accept, cause you want the weak, pathetic me. Well sorry but no more! I won't die a miserable death ever again, even if I have to murder the innocent, i will. As long as I survive, nothing and nobody else matters," Henry continued, his voice now filled with sorrow, regret and sadness

Miley wasn't surprised at his lashing out anymore, she just wanted to help Henry, she felt the urge to.

"That's always the problem, i don't need help! Henry yelled "Just leave me alone, you don't know me and you never will, all of you just want my weak self, you, Jane and even Xavier. But i won't go back, not in this world, I'll make sure I grow stronger and keep getting stronger till no one can ever hurt me again!" Henry said, his sadness replaced with strong determination

Miley knew there was nothing she could say to Henry at this point, he would just keep getting angry until he did something irrational. So she left him be and promised to try again

"I'll keep trying to reach out to you, for some strange reason i feel your pain and sorrow, and i want to help you get through them," She thought

Henry was too angry to sleep, he stood up and left the room. He headed to the balcony to get some air

He stood there, getting a good view of the cities night beauty, the sparkling lights sprawled on tall buildings and the glowing billboards that were even more attractive under the moon. It all felt surreal

Henry smiled and seemed to have calmed down a little, he took a deep breath and opened the system interface, to read the notifications he had ignored for hours

"I'm almost at the same physical strength level of a human with mana cells, but it doesn't mean I'm as powerful as they are,"  Henry muttered remembering the impressive feats of ability users that he had seen on the internet, there were lots of people who possessed powerful abilities. Abilities which made them formidable, especially the elemental type

"But I'll strive to surpass them, since I'm not bound by mana cells, i will become stronger," he said with determination as he glanced through his new stats

"I'll keep the extra stat points for now, they could come in handy later," he concluded

Then he went back to his inventory and checked out the event key. He already knew what the 90% discount card was

He went back into the room to lay on the bed and finally fell asleep

In an endless void of darkness, a lone ray of light pierced through the shadows, illuminating a prison cell that seemed to stretch on forever. The cell's walls were visible, but the bars that enclosed it appeared to fade into the darkness above and below.

On the cold, hard floor, a teenage boy lay motionless, his black hair disheveled. His physique hinted at athleticism, and his features suggested a rugged handsomeness. But his stillness was unsettling.

Suddenly, his eyes flickered open, and he sat up with a jolt. His breathing was labored, as if he'd been underwater too long. He struggled to fill his lungs with air, his chest heaving.

As he regained control of his breathing, he took stock of his surroundings. "Where the hell am I?" he demanded, but only silence replied.

Fully aware of the endless darkness, panic set in. "No, no, no... not again. Am I dead?" His thoughts raced.

But as he scrambled to his feet and approached the prison bars, he realized this wasn't the abyss he'd feared. The bars were solid, unyielding, and seemed to mock him.

"I'm... in a prison, but how did i get here?. Does this mean I'm not dead?"

"I remember being in a restaurant with... that woman. Fuck! I should've known she was up to something," he said, getting filled with rage

"Miley! Jane! Xavier! he shouted, but his calls were swallowed by the darkness.

Defeat and frustration overwhelmed him. "Where the fuck am I?" Henry yelled, his voice echoing off the cold walls.

His question hung in the air, unanswered. The darkness seemed to closing in around him once more.
