*knock knock*
Sheldon heard a knock at the door but didn't answer, he knew that it would be pointless anyway.
"Hey Shelly, what you doin" penny said as she walked through the door "Jesus Christ" she exclaimed.
What penny saw as she walked through the door was Sheldon hooked sitting in a large metal reclining chair in the middle of the room. Small white circles were stuck on the sides of Sheldon's temples which were also connected to a tight fitting cap covered with wires all leading to a big computer locking machine which was resting on the coffee table.
"What the hells that" penny asked.
"It's an interface that converts electromagnetic brain waves into bi-digital signals that can be read and uploaded into a digital interface as well as a network" Sheldon said nonchalantly.
Penny looked up and down at the machine then back at Sheldon "In English please" she asked.
"It lets me put my consciousness into a computer" Sheldon explained.
Penny walked into the kitchen and took a glass filling it with coke "aren't you a physicist"
"By trade I am, but Im much smarter than any engineer, brain surgeon and computer scientist I've ever known" Sheldon said.
Penny took her glass of coke and sat down on the couch "That's pretty cocky"
"'cockiness' is an expression made by dumb people too make themselves feel better about their own lack of intellect" Sheldon hopped out of the chair and started working at the machine "okay I'm gonna start it up, are you staying or are you leaving"
"What! Aren't you supposed to do this in a lab or like a controlled environment"
Sheldon ignored her and continued on calibrating the machine. After a couple of beeps and bops it was all ready to go. Sheldon sat down into the chair and looked into penny's eyes "Bazinga"
Sheldon activates the upload process of shutting down his body to put it into a coma state and shift his consciousness into the computer. All was going well and according to his calculations until suddenly a small hiccup was discovered. Sheldon still awake but not able to move his body knew that it was just his body reacting to the absence of a working mind but in a short while it would soon adapt. *But penny* he thought.
Penny was sitting on the couch minding her own business when suddenly a strange beeping noise came from the machine that Sheldon was playing with, she sat down her coke next to the machine and tried to make sense of what was going on. Suddenly Sheldon's body started violently spasming and shaking, penny panicked and quickly got up spilling the coke all over the machine.
"Aw shit" she said.
Smoke started billowing out of the machine but penny couldn't care less *one problem at a time* she thought. Penny tried waking up Sheldon but to no avail, suddenly Sheldon's body stoped spasming ending it as fast as it had come on.
"Sheldon wake up!!!" She yelled but he was still unresponsive. She pulled out his arm and checked his wrist for a pulse but couldn't get anything. She tried to find a pulse on his neck but it was still. After all else failed she ran to the phone and dialed 911.
Sheldon felt the vast expanse of nothingness floating in the plane between something and nothing. But out from the abyss he heard a voice.
"How the hell did you get here"
