After losing both of his parents, he had lost sight of what to do. Just trying to pursue his passed away father’s dream, he felt tired. Faced with setbacks one after another, he decided to take a rest which he hadn’t taken for a long time. He decided to do something during this off-time, that is to become a farmer, inhering the farm which was left by his uncle. But soon, he faced things supernatural and it would continue on so, Would he decide to return to pursue his father’s dream for him or would he just choose to relax and decide to become a farmer fully. What about the supernatural things which he was facing?
The dark clouds covered the sky and thunder started to strike. Rain started to fall and people started to run quickly towards cover whereas a man could be seen walking out of an office building sighed as he pulled out his umbrella. Even though he used his umbrella, the wind and rain was strong making the umbrella not that useful but he didn't really care, walking with slow steps towards his home. Even though the rain felt cold, he felt like it felt better than what he was feeling inside.
He arrived in front of his apartment, drenched in rain. Taking out his key, he went into his apartment.
"I'm home"
He said softly like a mosquito but there wasn't anyone to greet him. He went to the bathroom and removed his clothes as he went into the bath which started to get filled with warm water. He soaked in the water as his thoughts wandered off.
His name was Li Wei, an ordinary man who was in his early twenties. Then what was he doing with his life drowned in office work at this age instead of going to college like his peers. When he was 17 years old, both his parents died leaving him alone in this world. His father was very proud of his grades though not the best, it was better than those of his sons and daughters of his friends. He wanted to have his son go to a good private university, paying for the first whole year with the savings from their bank account and intending to do the rest with time.
But everything changed when both his parents died in a car crash, their vehicle plunging into a ravine. Their bodies were never recovered. He wanted to believe they were still alive, but that was just a fantasy, not reality.

Flashback
Li Wei sat on the dinner table, staring at his parents with a bit of frustration. The air remained heavy.
"I don't need to go to such a prestigious university" Li Wei said, his voice firm.
"It's too expensive. I don't want to waste your money."
His father, Li Jun looked at him with a gentle gaze
"Wei, this is an investment for your future. We believe in you"
His mother, Li Mei or rather Zhang Mei, nodded in agreement, her eyes filled with warmth and pride.
"We've saved up for this. We want you to have the best opportunities."
Li Wei shook his head, feeling the weight of their expectations pressing down on him.
"I just… I don't think it's worth it"
Without waiting for their response, he stood up and walked to his room, closing the door behind him. He flopped onto his bed, staring at the ceiling, feeling a mix of anger and guilt. He felt guilt that he had to say that to his parents yet he also felt anger at himself for not having enough confidence to just accept and attend the university.
A soft knock on the door interrupted his thoughts.
"Wei,"
He wanted to go to the door and say that he wanted to do it and he would be able to, yet his body stopped him.
'Move, body'
'Move'
His father's voice came through the door,
"We've already paid for your first year. Please, think about it."
He tried to talk but words didn't come out from his mouth. He heard his father sigh and walk away, the sound of his footsteps fading into the distance. A pang of guilt stabbed at his heart, but he put it aside, covering his eyes with his arm.
The next morning, Li Wei tried to find his parents, but there was no sign of them. He caught sight of a note on the door of the fridge. It read,
"Wei, we've gone away for work to Hangzhou. We'll be back in a few days. Love, Mom and Dad."
It wasn't the first time it has happened. He was used to these, as his parents worked in geological surveying, often traveling to remote locations to conduct research and collect data. It wasn't unusual for them to be away for days at a time, but the timing of this trip felt particularly harsh.
Li Wei sighed and turned on the TV, then went to the kitchen to reheat the breakfast his mother had prepared for him. He ate slowly, the food tasting bland in his mouth as he absentmindedly watched the morning news.
His mind was elsewhere, replaying the conversation from the night before, when the news anchor's voice cut through his thoughts.
"We interrupt this program with breaking news. A tragic accident has occurred on Highway 12. A bus has plunged into a ravine, and authorities are reporting that the occupants are presumed dead."
"Huh, isn't that the way to what dad and mom wanted to go"
He heard the highway number and quickly searched in the map from his phone. He saw that the road was indeed the ones which his parents needed to go.
"The victims have been identified ….."
Names continued through with some names which he was familiar, some acquaintance names were mentioned, the friends of his parents and then the end was sounded.
"Li Jun, Zhang Mei"
As soon as the names were sounded, in his vision, the world seemed to tilt on its axis. The spoon fell from Li Wei's hand, clattering onto the table. He felt a cold numbness spread through his body as the words sank in. He stared at the TV screen, hoping he had misheard, but the images of the suspected people were shown and he could see clearly the images of his parents.
His parents were gone. Forever.
The breakfast his mother had lovingly prepared that morning was now a bitter reminder of what he had lost. Tears streamed down his face as he realized the full extent of his grief and guilt. He had argued with them, refused their dreams for him, and now they were gone.
Li Wei sank to the floor, the weight of his sorrow crushing him. In the silence of his apartment, he felt the cold emptiness of his loss, the reality of his parents' death sinking in deeper with each passing moment.
