Chapter 37: Hello Richard!
Griffin's POV
James and Mia were on their honeymoon when I found out about Jack... Jack had been my friend for even longer than James. Maybe longer than anyone, I realized. Jack's mate, Sarinda, had been brutally killed in the pack wars that had taken Dominique's parents. Collins told me that he wasn't doing well, and that it might be a good idea to check in on him. Collins didn't often suggest that I do things. He usually felt that it wasn't his place to do so, even though I had told him about a million times that I valued his input.
"Sir Griffin, how long will you be gone?" Collins asked me, and I wondered why he continued to call me that as well. Did no one in this place listen to their Alpha, I thought, annoyed. But once again, I decided not to press the issue. There were more important things that needed my attention at the moment.
