*Click*

The door swings open, and in walks a young man in his 20s, dressed in a classic navy interview suit. He kicks off his dark brown leather shoes and strolls into the one-bedroom house, tossing his solid-colored tie aside onto the couch. Collapsing onto the cushions, he lets out a sigh.

*sigh*

"Another bust. My luck isn't good these days," he mutters, having failed yet another interview. His name is Rai Adam, a young man of half-Indian, half-British descent, who was left at an orphanage by his parents. Currently, he's struggling to find a job, hindered by the stringent requirements of experience in the business world. Despite studying business, Rai feels frustrated by the gap between theory and practical application.

"The interviewers demand experienced candidates, but colleges and schools only teach us theory, not how to apply it," Rai grumbles, feeling disheartened by the state of the industry. However, he pushes aside these thoughts and decides to spend the rest of the day lounging around. Picking up his phone, he settles in to watch something, anything to distract himself.

*Four Hours Later*

With a satisfied sigh, Rai closes his laptop, having just finished rewatching "The Marvels" and completing his Marvel Marathon.

"Damn, the end credit scene was amazing though. Not gonna lie, glad I waited for it to come online rather than going to the theaters," Rai reflects, feeling pleased with his decision. Checking the time, he realizes it's late and decides to head to bed, anxiously awaiting news about the interview.

He undresses, slipping into his pajamas, revealing a moderately built physique with a balanced proportion of muscle and fat. Running a hand through his wild brown hair, he notices its unkempt growth, with strands reaching down to his neck. Settling into bed, he closes his brownish eyes, hoping for sleep, but his mind refuses to rest. Instead, he delves into his thoughts, drifting into a realm of imagined scenarios and alternate realities.

Eventually, exhaustion overtakes him, and he drifts off to sleep, his last wish before slumber enveloping him: to live an exciting life in a different world, unaware that his wish is about to come true.

[First-Person POV]

I feel weird, I don't know how or why, but I do. So, I open my eyes, trying to see in what way I am sleeping and attempting to fix my sleeping position. But that's when I realize... darkness. Complete and utter darkness.

I finally come to full capacity of thought, realizing that I am not sleeping, and the feeling of weirdness I have is not due to my sleeping position, but due to my surroundings. I try to get up, but I don't know if I succeeded or not, because I realize that I am literally floating in an area encompassed by darkness. I look all over the area, trying to find anything, anyone, or anything that starts with the word "any". I can't find anything. This realization makes me freak out, not knowing what to do, where the place is, and why am I here, leading to normal people freaking out.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING?" The screams coming out of my mouth are my only hope. Anyone, anything, someone, please help me. I continue screaming. Not knowing what my screaming will achieve, but rather not thinking about it. I scream again but...

"Okay, okay, stop, dude, you are way too loud for my ears." The entire area changes from these words. Light appears out of nowhere, and with me not expecting it, my eyes start to itch, so I cover them, rubbing my eyes. With my mind registering the words after the input of light, I open my eyes to...

Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Before I can even comprehend the realization of the voice leading to nothing, I hear it. The same voice, talking to me. But it's from all around me, from the front, back, left-hand side, right-hand side, vertically - you get the idea.

"Technically, I am nothing, so you can't see me." The -NOTHING- states this. I try to check where the voice is from, but before I can even try doing it, I get cut off...

"I am all around you, so don't think much about it for now." The -NOTHING- does this to confuse and scare me even more. I try to open my mouth to say something, anything. But no, Mr. -NOTHING- wants to cut me off again...

"You are dead, by the way. Just wanted to get that out there before you start asking me que- Why the sarcasm, bro?" The -NOTHING- gives a bombshell of information, and then starts another conversation like that, leaving me to deal with the fucking information that I am dead.

"What-?" And AGAIN, before I can say a word, Mr. -NOTHING- intervenes and does... something. I don't know what. Hell, I don't know if the being even did it or it's just because of where I am, but I feel... calm.

"Yeah, I am the one who made you calm. Don't want to have to deal with your accepting the situation and all that stuff. It takes too long to write that shit. I am writing for over an hour and only have made it to around 900 words, and I still have not completed the chapter. I am not gonna lie, creating these chapters is hard." The -NOTHING-... I am sorry, what?

"EX-FUCKING-CUSE ME?" I am sorry, what? The fuck you mean chapte-

"Oh yeah, let me explain from the beginning so that you can understand." Mr. -NOTHING- clears my head again to make me calm and starts explaining where it all started, from after the big ban-

"No, not the big bang. Are you listening to me? This starts AFTER your death, FYI. You died peacefully, and nobody killed you. You were just going to the next stage, and I decided to make something out of you by the powers given to me by the web novel gods and shit." The Mr. -NOTHING- explains to me- wait a second, why the hell am I even calling him Mr. -NOTHING-?

"I don't know honestly, but anyways, here is what is gonna happen:

You are gonna be sent to a new universe, and yes, the multiverse theory is true.You are gonna spin 2 wheels to figure out your universe and the power system, since I don't wanna send you with anything and mostly because I don't wanna research too much on ways to make you competent and powerful if you do not have power.I am gonna change your memory a little bit when I send you away for your new universe since I don't wanna have your ass in an existential crisis all the time while I am writing you. Capiche?"

Well, no capiche, according to you, I am supposedly a character for a chapter, meaning my life didn't matter, multi-fucking-verse is real, and I am gonna be sent there for entertainment, while having my MEMORY MESS-

*Sigh*

Fuck it, we ball with this.

"Sure, I'm gonna roll with this right now, so where are the wheels before I lose my mind?" I'm trying hard not to think about it, REALLY hard.

"Nice, here you go," Mr. -NOTHING- (I just decided to roll with the name at this point) pops up two wheels, one where universes are listed like One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, Dragon Ball, Marvel Cinematic Universe, Detective Comics (DC) Universe, etc.

The other contains power systems like Cursed Energy, Chakra, Ki, Magic, etc.

"Go on, spin it," the being encourages(?) me. So, I decide to do it after speaking my (now) mantra, "Fuck it, we ba-"

"Before you spin, though, I want to say this: Even if you won't remember since it's for the readers only, I'm going to split you into near infinite copies so that I can use you as a premise for other stories of mine if I ever release them." Mr. -NOTHING- really is starting to piss me the fuck off, but I decide not to acknowledge whatever he's saying for now and I spin the wheel deciding my fate and life. [AN:- AS YOU CAN SEE, I DID MENTION IT HERE, SO TAKE THAT AS YOU WILL]

The first wheel spins, and it spins for some time... for some more time... and some more, more time. It just keeps FUCK- Oh, it slows down, and that's when shit hits the fan, for a second at least. My eyes go blind, but before I can speak, I get cut off (for the 6th fucking time)-

"Well, I want it to be interesting for you, so you don't get to know what universe you go to, while the reader already knows due to the title and all. but you do get to know about your power though" Mr. -NOTHING- explains the reasoning, and me? Well, I decide to just use the "Fuck it, we ball" mantra I acquired. The wheel comes to a stop, revealing-

The fuck would I know? I am blind, fuckers.

"Do the second spin; I need to go and eat dinner right now," -NOTHING- speaks, wanting me to hurry up. But here is the thing, jackass, I don't know WHERE THE FU- Ah, my hand seems to be touching a wheel, so I just spin it and wait and wait and wait even more.

Eventually, the spinning sound stops, and I even have a thought on guessing the power that is supposed to help my life. The being who is almost making my head explode with information I am never supposed to know just FUCKING PUSHES ME AWAY, YOU MOTHERFUC-

"Right, you haven't seen the powers; here you go." The fucker removes the blindness from my eyes and brings the second wheel right in front of me, showing the words:

AN:- SO THE REASON FOR STARTING A NEW FANFIC IS BECAUSE SINCE I HAVE ALMOST REACHED 10 CHAPTERS IN MCU UNDEAD, I DECIDED TO START A NEW ONE, SINCE THIS WAS IN MY BRAIN FOR SOME TIME.I DID NOT ABANDON THE PREVIOUS WORK OF MINE AND WOULD NOT ABANDON IT, I AM CONFIDENT ON FINISHING IT, I HAVE A LOT OF IDEAS. THIS ONE IS JUST SO I COULD RELAX AND NOT RESEARCH THAT MUCH, HOPE YOU GUYS LIKE IT!
