31. A book

Asterion went to the library, searching different shelves. He walked around a bit before finding the exact book he was searching for.

The cover itself looked worn out, indicating the book had withstood the harsh time. He opened the book, breathing in the rough-old-dusty-papery smell.

He turned a few more pages, finally stopping abruptly at one.

'I just knew it!' He thought to himself before closing the book and returning to his chamber, only to collide with Vesta midway.

"Your highness." Vesta greeted politely.

"Haven't they assigned you a room yet?" Asterion asked.

"They did. I just came out to have lunch with you." Vesta replied.

"I am not hungry. You can have your lunch. Or maybe I can ask the kitchen to send your lunch to your room." Asterion suggested.

"No, your highness. I will go there myself. I don't want to be a burden to the maids." Vesta said politely, as if she really cared about them.
