He has a whole day infront of him with nothing to do...he could grin his skill but he didn't want to become a mindless addict just grinding every day, he might hunt some strong curse to add to his army.....
Speaking of curse he just remembered something, that curse spirit that he had killed back during the Kyoto event, its spirit should probably still be somewhere around there, he could probably make use of its power from himself.
Kenzo then sigh a bit....He could go spend time with Panda or Inumaki or play some video games which to be fair he started to find them less interesting after his life quite literally became a game.
He had options but he didn't know what to do with them, he could grind out his domain expansion or his barrier technique, trading the sure hit for a harder shell and a bigger boost in the inside of the technique.
That would mean his domain expansion could take quite a beating from the outside before cracking or even breaking, could he try making a binding vow from his domain where his opponent is technically able to escape the domain....he wonders what something like that might give him.
He probably has to give something in return for that and he didn't feel like doing that, that seems like years of work, even Gojo sensei domain wasn't like that and this man is busted with barrier technique.
Like who could he expect to have potent enough barrier techniques to make such divine.....Sukuna.
He didn't even get to finish his thoughts before that name entered his mind...
Someone considered to be the king of curses with his knowledge of curse energy being second to none, he could potentially have a barrierless domain...Nah that would be too busted.
There is no way he could possibly do that because if he could that meant during the two times he faced the king of curse....it was holding back and it could have turned him into the perfect pancake.
He could have spammed the instant heal but he would have run out of it before the domain were to end.....his life would have been at the mercy of the king of curse.
A grin suddenly appeared on Kenzo face...."I wonder how he would look as a shadow soldier"....pure and utter bullshit was spewed out of his mouth that day but he didn't care, the only thing holding him back apart from the slight fear of being turned into a pancake was because Sukuna was in Yuji body.
It was like 2 soul in one body and even though,he quite litteraly use soul in his army and give them 'life' through his mana,he didnt want to try that shit with Yuji.
He would defend this pink haired boy with his life if need be,he physically couldnt bring himself to harm him.......
Everytime he see it...the corpse of Yuji in his hands with a gaping hole in his chest in his dagger ingraved deep inside of it....
He still felt some regret over it even if Yuji was alive,he wasnt a stranguer to murder per say,he himself commit mass genocide on a daily basis...them creature in the dungeon are sentiant and some of them have a full on society yet he just barge in and kill them for xp and gold.
He someone couldnt feel that guilty about it as although they were sentiant, they were making him stronguer and they usually attacked him first and he could justify it by saying self defence.
Unless they are truly no threat to him he would not kill them, he kept the killing for a very simple reason...He doesnt like feeling weak.
He want to become strong in order to protect those close to him and also in order to strip that title away from his sensei, remove the burden of his shoulder you might say.
Plus with the fact that one day Sukuna might regain all his power and rekt havoc while he himself was to weak to do anything about it scared him to the core.
It was terryfing to think about and he rather have his own strenght to help him instead of relying on Gojo strenght....
If those 2 titan clash he wonder who would win that fight,he would like to see it maybe he will learn something from it.
If Gojo won then that one villain down and i not then Sukuna would be just weak enough for him to just end him, unless the king of curse have some sort of healing Rct that heal him back to 100% he should be fine,or have some durability negation attack then he should be just fine.
The chance of this happening are slim to none, and he prefer not think to much of it but just in case he might need to train his ability to 100% just in case.
As Kenzo delved deeper into his training and development, he sensed a transformation within himself. The once game-like system that governed his skills began to blur, each ability evolving into something more personal, as if he genuinely possessed those powers rather than merely operating within a gaming framework.
While his stats retained a sense of quantifiable progress, the rest of his skills took on a more authentic nature, merging seamlessly with his own essence. The distinction between the system and his inherent abilities became increasingly indistinct. Yet, Kenzo welcomed this change, embracing the shift from a game-like structure to a more organic manifestation of power.
He cared little for the system's persistence; what mattered most to him was the strength he gained. As long as he could protect his friends and allies, the specifics of the system mattered less. Kenzo's journey became a quest for genuine power, regardless of the game-like origins that had initially propelled him forward.
