Drowned with numbers

The crowd of Conjurers jumped away like a cat whose tail had been stepped upon, from the position of their dying comrade. Suddenly, the words of mockery and insults were choked down the throat of the Conjurers as they showed vigilant expression for the first time.

Captain Lenny hid behind the screen as she raised her hand to wipe the thin line of blood from her neck. There was a feeling of panic and apprehension in her eyes as she concluded maybe the words of Garry were not so delusional after all.

The conjurers who had quickly taken cover looked at each other and saw the gloom and seriousness in each other's expression. The most affected was Garry, who somehow once again felt the nightmare of death. He had nearly forgotten this feeling, but seeing the man dying so quickly like an ignorant insect in the middle of the group made him break out in cold sweat again.

"Hey, are you…...such an idiot trying to challenge our group alone? "
