A fake Fiance : Love or Revenge

Tatiana looked at her phone ringing with a frown on her face.

"We both know your mother won't give up until you pick up, " her friend said.

"I know but these dates are getting out of hand, Mark is a nice guy but I don't like him at all " she sighed.

"But your mom likes him and I don't think she will give up until you're married to him " Patricia laughed.

"But I don't like him at all ".

"Well, if you had a boyfriend then you could escape this arranged marriage but you don't which makes it harder for you, " her friend said.

Tatiana groaned, "Ahh, can't she give me a break " taking her phone and walking off.

"mom"

"Where are you, Mark and I have been waiting for hours "

"you know am still at work and I need to finish two reports before I leave," she said.

"is work more important than your mother ...or future marriage ?"

She could feel her stomach turn in anger, "no mom, nothing is more important than you, give me thirty minutes I will be there "

"Okay, hurry up " her mother hang up.

She looked down at the phone and cried in anger.

After handing in her reports she finally left work.

"All the best, girlfriend " Patricia waved her goodbye.

She arrived at the restaurant where her mother and Mark were waiting.

Noticing them before they could see her, Tatiana took a turn hiding, "I wish I had a boyfriend right now then I would stop all this " she breathed.

"What would you need a boyfriend ?" she heard a voice ask from behind her. Startled she jumped in fear checking where it came from.

"Who is that ?" she asked but only heard a light chuckle.

Someone walked out of the shadow, she moved back still on alert

"Am sorry if I scared you?" he said.

"It's alright," she said still moving back. She turned back to the entrance to see her mother grab her phone. She sighed and soon her phone was vibrating.

"You should get that " she turned to see the stranger still there. He had moved closer to the light now. He was tall and handsome with dark hair and a perfect body, Tatiana gulped.

His deep blue eyes looked down at her with wonder, while his pink lips curved into a smile. She blinked noticing the two buttons on his white shirt were opened, exposing his white chest underneath.

She looked away instantly getting her phone, "Mom am almost there" she answered then hang up. She didn't want to go in but she was here now so taking a deep breath and step forward to enter but stopped.

"Am sorry I know we don't know each other but can you do me a favour ?" she turned to the stranger.

His smile returned and he gave her a nod.

"It's going to sound crazy but I need you to pretend to be my boyfriend "....she could see his eyebrow raise in question ..." it's only for a few hours, I just need you to help me get out of this stupid arranged marriage, I don't want to get married to him " she looked up to him anxious.

"Okay," he answered.

"Really!?" she asked surprised

"Yeah, you sound desperate "

"I am " she muttered.

"Okay then, what's the plan?" he asked.

"You just need to pretend to be my boyfriend, whatever question my mother will ask I will handle it. You just need to agree with me " she said breathlessly. She wanted this done so her life would be free from this arrangement.

"Got it " he smiled. She found herself smiling back.

"Let's go then " Tatiana took deep breaths as they started to walk to the entrance.

His arm slide to her back, holding her waist, "I didn't get your name, dear girlfriend " he whispered in her ear.

"Tatiana Kennel ".

"Tatiana, my name is Jack Avil," he said.

"Mr Avil thank you for helping me " she whispered back.

"Well, anything for my girlfriend " he smiled.

She chuckled and turned back as they arrived at her mother's table, who had been staring at them as soon as she noticed them walk up to them.
