Chapter Four Hundred and Sixty-Nine: Armored Vehicle

A grenade was thrown into the clinic and exploded in the rear-right position.

Gao Yang was flipped over by the blast wave, and for a moment, he couldn't hear anything but a ringing in his ears; his mind was in a daze. When he hit the ground, his left shoulder wound was severely impacted, and the intense pain quickly brought him back to clarity.

Sitting up with one hand on the ground, he shook his head in confusion and started to shout hoarsely, yet although he knew he was yelling and what he was supposed to yell, he couldn't hear any sound that he made.

The world suddenly became quiet, causing a sense of panic in Gao Yang. Twisting his head, he looked around. The grenade's shockwave had thinned the smoke a bit, and he could see Tommy struggling to get up on his left, while on his rear-right was one of Brejinsky's men, convulsing non-stop on the ground.

Gao Yang pushed Tommy, who was beside him, only to see Tommy crouch and kneel on the ground after crawling up.
