Dudian didn’t see any magnificent sky railway or shining steel buildings in the town. There were only ordinary concrete and brick bungalows. There were many ordinary people dressed in plain clothes, dudian rode a rusty bicycle through the streets. It was like the old feeling of the eighties. It was very different from the bustling city which was full of futuristic technology.
Dudian saw scavenger in ragged clothes lying on the roadside. The scavenger was as skinny as a stick. He was surrounded by flies. The civilians tried to avoid him as they covered their noses.
“Is the factory in the suburbs?”Dudian asked Rocco.
Rocco’s heart trembled as he replied: “Mr Dean don’t be impatient. The wilderness outside the factory is still a distance away from here. But with the speed of our Puss trains we will arrive soon.”
Dudian frowned: “This city was built by your ancestors right? If there aren’t so many people in the city then why do you want to encircle such a large area?”
