The air was cool in the morning. A few old men were feeling self-pity, looking over their crops.

After the Headquarters Cities were established, there was not much land left for agriculture. The price of food and vegetables had increased significantly. The old men had been planning to earn more money so their family could live a better life in the Headquarters City. 

"Old Tang, why does the water keep rising?" an old man who was carrying a loaded pole on his shoulders asked his neighbor. 

"We must hurry. If the vegetables are all destroyed, we will have nothing to feed ourselves!" the old farmer said.
