Chapter 19: When Past Meets Present

"Anyway, we're here, I would like to thank you for helping me out, the way you did today, I really appreciate it." Emily said, when the must have gotten to where Jesse parked his car.

"Thanks ma, it's my pleasure being of help to you you. How about having your number so that I can call to check up on the progress of the young man.? Maybe I can as well come back to check up on you guys possibly later in the evening when I will be chanced and can even come along with some food. I can tell from the look on your face, you're famished." Jesse suggested casually.

Hmmm, Emily thought in her heart, "he must really be a very nice guy," since he had been such a big help to her and on seeing that, he could make a good friend, so, for that reason, Emily didn't mind giving him her number.

When Emily got inside after that Jesse had driven off, she decided not to take the route where she met Liam and Charlotte while going back inside it.
