Chapter 14: Azuraelle Stopped Freaking Out!

Azuraelle looked back at her mother and smiled a little. "I will deal with my Husband's personal issues of his previous human part, then come back to look for him."

"Huh?" Numrigaelle said aloud, "You will what? Please repeat again. I think my ears are still having some issues."

Tiamat nodded as well with an incredulous look on her gorgeous face.

Azuraelle looked at the two dryly, and seeing they are actually genuine about it, she sighed and repeated exactly what she said, however summarized.

"I said. I will deal with my Darling's personal life issues, then return to look back for him." Both her tone and her expression were irritated and annoyed; 'Bitchy redhead... I will show her what it means to take my husband away from me!' She thought inwardly to herself.

Tiamat's eyes opened a little, and she quickly turned her head to her sister, who also appeared surprised by something as well.

'My aggressive and angry Daughter/Niece is changing?' They both thought at the same time, and fortunately their thoughts were "locked" from each other, otherwise Azuraelle would've heard them.

However, Azuraelle squinted her eyes at the two; she didn't like the look on their faces.

But she shrugged it off, then beckoned the dark-skinned Maid on as she flew outside the grand palace from the same window the Maid came from.

Now in the air, the Maid extended her palms forward, then a brown portal with green hues manifested before them in the air after few seconds.

"After you, Mistress." The Maid respectfully spoke as she bowed before Azuraelle.

Azuraelle smiled softly at her, then "stepped" up to the portal, and the maid followed after.

The two women flew into the portal and disappeared within it, and the portal closed and vanished by engulfing itself.

Meanwhile, Tiamat and Numrigaelle watched everything in silence with neutral looks.

After some time, Tiamat kept staring forward but spoke in a neutral tone: "Numri."

"Yeah?" Her sister was also staring forward as she replied in the same neutral tone of voice.

"Please do remind me... One of our Darling's personal issues include his new boss, which is a woman who also likes him, right...?"

Now that her sister brought this topic up... Numrigaelle smiled seductively, though her eyes darkened with possessiveness; "...This is going to be fun..."

Feeling her sister's emotions, Tiamat couldn't help but say the same, though in her mind: 'Since my daughter is actually facing changes... will it be a bad decision to see how she will act...?'

Tiamat doesn't like risky things, but when it comes to her family, she throws all her rationality and only thinks about her own family members. As long as the risk doesn't involve them, nor will they face backlashes, Tiamat will support her family members by both actions and words.

"Tia." Numrigaelle looked at her older sister with a serious look that wasn't quite like her personality.

"I know." Tiamat replied without looking at her sister; she knew what she meant by her tone already. "Let's watch our sister for now and see how things will evolve."

Numrigaelle thought about what her sister said for a moment, then nodded in agreement. "I will return back to my realm then. Call me if my niece needs help when it is necessary, or when it involves my Dearest."

Tiamat's eyes flashed faintly, she didn't like how another woman was calling her Husband so intimately, but she quickly shook her head as this woman was her sister, her family, and they shared the same man with her daughter as well.

"Will do."

Numrigaelle chuckled darkly before waving her hand, then also disappeared within a pitch black portal.

If anything, this situation, although complicated and a "little" irritating, can grow her family bonds and make them more united than ever.

So what is better than that?

They will share the same man they all love, which is good since if there were to be more men it wouldn't be impossible to say those men would cheat on their wives some day with other women, because every woman here is an irresistible beauty.

That doesn't mean if it were like that, the Goddesses here would let that happen. They are NOT whores!

And, they will also grow to be, at least, a bit more dependent on each other, and that's helpful for all of them since they will share the same burdens.

Immortality is quite tiring. It has its pros and cons, and the most important con is loneliness.

If you are lonely, Immortal or not, God or not, you will go crazy in a matter of time; be it hundreds, thousands, or hundreds of thousands of years, or eons of time!

So, this situation, this relationship, is indeed a win-win.

"Haaah..." Tiamat let out a deep sigh. "I will just relax in the bathtub." She muttered to herself then left this hall-like living room.

A swirling vermillion portal appeared on top of a jagged mountain, and around the mountain was a thick dark fog that was hard to see through.

Beyond the fog, one could see a vibrant, flaming world, which is filled with red and yellow tones, with sprawling and jagged mountain ranges and scorching and dark forests, with some separated lands having crimson and white flames that soared high to the dark clouds.

Red dragons of all species, and other creatures like giant shadow horses with glowing eyes, filled the skies and the ground.

However, the mountain which the portal spawned at, was the largest spire in this place, towering above everything else, with thick fog covering every part of it. It was really hard to see what it looked like other than telling it had some ruptures, and it was massive.

Emerging from the portal was a red-haired woman, carrying a man by his waist with her right arm wrapped around him. 

She looked around with her eyes glowing a bright red color, and as if by magic, a part of the fog before her dispersed, and soon the ground began to shake with a rumbling and booming sound, then a huge castle made out of dark stone jutted upwards.

She glanced down at the man in her arm before walking up to the castle.

"Let's see what you are able to do... My Destined One." She softly whispered as she looked back at the unconscious man with an imperceptible smile on her lips.
