"How could I ever make a decision like that?" I asked.

It was nonsensical. I wouldn't put this life on anyone. It was horrible to treat people like some kind of breeding animal. Not to mention finding 4 compatible mates. On the other hand, I didn't want to be hunted down forever. I wanted to just enjoy life with my siblings, and my Alphas. I wanted to go outside and take the kids to good restaurants, and theme parks. Travel to see other duhtchies. I wanted to live how I wanted.

'Is this the selfishness that everyone is always talking about. Living for myself?'
