"Headmaster Dumbledore!"

At the break of dawn, before the young witches and wizards had risen,

The door to the Headmaster's office was flung open.

Snape, clad in his ever-present black cloak, entered.

Dumbledore, looking bleary-eyed and sipping his tea, had barely slept through the night.

"Headmaster, the situation is much worse than you imagined!"

Snape's tone was immediately harsh.

"You can't even begin to imagine what happened last night!"

"That Kael, the infamous 'Blood Demon' from Knockturn Alley, hung up a dozen or so newly admitted Slytherins from the ceiling and left them hanging all night!"

"Did anyone get hurt?" Dumbledore looked up and asked.

"No!"

"But you must understand, his nature is inherently evil, and that can't be changed!"
