Will had teleported himself and Dean close to their father's location after Will did a locator spell to find him, as John would not answer his phone. As soon as they passed through the door, they found John and another man pinned to the wall, and in front of them stood a woman dressed in all black leather. Will immediately recognized them as Prometheus and Artemis.
"Hey, Dad, are we interrupting something? We could come back later," Will said, taking them by surprise.
John replied, "Very funny. A little help would be appreciated, son."
"Fine," Will said.
Dean tried to tackle Artemis, but she held up her hand, and he was frozen in place. Then she made a gesture, and Dean was thrown across the room. Artemis tried to do the same to Will, but nothing happened.
"You will need a lot more juice to do that to me. Come on now, I haven't had a good hand-to-hand fight in a while," Will said as he gestured at Artemis with his right hand to come at him.
In Artemis's hands, two silver daggers appeared as she got into a stance for a fight. Will said, "God-killing weapons. I'm flattered, but they won't help you much."
Artemis lunged, trying to stab Will with her weapons, but he always dodged at the nick of time. After a while, Will said, sounding bored, "You know, I expected more from the goddess of the hunt." Then he kicked her feet from under her, knocking her to the ground.
Artemis quickly got up and backed away to get some distance. The daggers disappeared from her hands, and in their place, a silver-looking bow and arrow appeared.
"You gave up on close quarters; now you try long distance, huh? Fine, give me your best shot," Will said as he stood in place, looking at her. He could have finished this as soon as it started, but he knew she couldn't do anything to him.
Artemis released the arrow, and it headed straight toward Will's chest. Will caught it midair with his right hand, the arrowhead barely touching his shirt.
"I'm going to give you one chance, and one only. Release them and run," Will said.
Artemis dissolved like mist, the arrow in Will's hand disappearing with her. John, Dean, and Prometheus dropped back on their feet as soon as she left.
"I have to admit, toying with a god is fun. I should do it again later," Will said.
"Who the hell was she, and why did you let her go?" Dean asked.
"That, my dear brother, was the goddess of the hunt, Artemis. You know, the one ancient Greek hunters used to pray to before going on a hunt. And I let her go because I wanted to—no other reason."
"What if she kills someone now that you let her go?" John asked.
"And how is that my problem?" Will replied.
"How can you say that? We are hunters; it's our job to kill them," John angrily replied.
"Don't treat me like your soldier, old man. You know I don't like that. And I have told you before, I'm not a hunter like you, so drop this."
"Both of you, knock it off," Dean said.
Will "I didn't start it. Now let's get this over with quickly; we have other important things to do."
"Fine, we will still talk about this later. Now, he is Prometheus" John said as he pointed to the other person in the room.
"I think, he can't remember much about his life, so I'm not entirely sure," John continued.
"How did you find him?" Dean asked.
"A dead body disappeared from the local morgue, then it reappeared there again the next day, only for it to disappear shortly after. So at first, I thought he was some kind of undead and tracked him down. But after I caught up with him and did all the usual tests, I realized that was not the case, as he didn't respond negatively to anything. So I thought that maybe it is a curse, as he kept dying every day, so I called Bobby. And he came up with the Prometheus theory. And here we are."
Will touched the blade secured to his belt, did a little spell nonverbally, and his eyes started glowing.
"It is a curse; I can see it."
Knock... Knock.
"Someone is here; I got this," Dean said as he carefully opened the motel door. In front of him stood a woman with a young child.
Will thought, "Amara, how are they here? From what I remember, the child should be younger or not even born at this time."
"Will, this is not exactly the show you watched, you know that. Things can happen earlier, or later, or not at all," Amara said.
"Yeah, you're right." Will replied
"Hailey?" Prometheus said, surprised to recognize the woman.
"Hello, Sean," Hailey replied.
"Sean?" Dean asked.
"It is what I used to call him, as he didn't remember his old name," Hailey explained.
"OK, why are you here?" Dean asked.
"I want to have a word with Sean, please," Hailey said.
"Fine, let's go outside then," Prometheus said.
Prometheus, Hailey, and the kid left, leaving John, Will, and Dean in the room.
"What is that about?" Dean asked.
"That was Prometheus's son," Will replied.
"How do you know?" Dean asked.
Will "I could see the same curse on him; that is how I know."
"We have to break it then; we can't leave a kid to suffer like that," Dean insisted.
Will "I know how. We have two options. First, we can do a ritual to unlink the curse from its host, but that will be a little complicated because we don't have all the materials at the bunker. Or the second, easier option: kill the caster, and the curse will break."
"And by caster, you mean...?" Dean asked.
Will: "Zeus."
Dean: "How is that simpler?"
"Because I already have something that can kill him," Will said, showing the blade.
"I saw you carrying that; what exactly is it?" Dean asked.
"A weapon that can kill anything, including yellow eyes."
John quickly took it from Will's hand and started to study it.
"Are you sure it can kill yellow eyes?" John asked.
"I'm 100% sure," Will replied.
"Why haven't you told me about this before?" John asked.
"Because I got it yesterday. Now let's summon Zeus and end him." Will replied
"How can we summon him?" Dean asked.
Will: "How else? We do a ritual; we should have everything we need for it in Dad's car."
Dean: "Fine, let's do this."
A bit of a shorter chapter today, I'm a bit busy, I'll finish this ark tomorrow
