Deadshot!

Under the cover of night, two figures quietly sneaked into a dark building.

Matt, dressed in black, had a black cloth over his eyes but was unaffected as he led the way. Karen, in a dark jacket and pants, followed closely behind.

Taking advantage of the darkness, they easily entered the building's first floor.

It was already 10 p.m., and the building was completely dark and silent.

But this didn't bother Daredevil—nighttime was the perfect setting for him to operate.

With his enhanced hearing, the surroundings painted a vivid picture in his mind, allowing him to move freely in the dark.

In the pitch-black environment, however, Karen, unable to see in the dark, stumbled slightly as she followed Matt, groping her way forward.

Soon, Matt stopped at a certain spot.

"Where are the stairs?"

Matt quietly asked Karen.

"Aren't we taking the elevator?" Karen asked, confused, as moving around in the darkness was uncomfortable for her.

"No," Matt replied. "The elevator is too dangerous, especially for you."

Hearing this, Karen reluctantly pointed out the stairs.

The two headed for the stairwell.

"What floor?" Matt asked casually as he glanced upwards.

"Sixth floor," Karen replied.

Matt tilted his head, listening intently for a moment. His expression grew serious as he listened.

After a while, he spoke gravely to Karen: "I'll go up first. You need to stay one floor behind me."

"Why?" Karen's face changed, realizing something, a look of unease appearing in her eyes. "Is there someone up there?"

Matt slowly nodded. "More than one."

Karen pressed her hand to her forehead, trying to calm herself down. "Lyn, are you there?" she whispered, hoping to find some comfort.

"I'm here, don't worry, go ahead," Lynch's voice seemed to whisper right in her ear, instantly calming her down. He was here—there was nothing to fear.

Gathering her courage, Karen said to Daredevil, "I'm ready."

Daredevil gave a small nod. "When you hear me tap on the handrail, stop and don't move."

"Okay."

The two began climbing the stairs slowly.

First floor, second floor...

Maintaining a distance of about one floor between them, they reached the area between the fourth and fifth floors without incident.

Just as Karen began to think Daredevil's warning might have been overly cautious, she felt a vibration through the handrail from above.

She immediately stopped, her nerves on edge.

Are there really enemies?

Daredevil paused, taking a deep breath, clearing his mind.

With his heightened senses, he detected no less than ten breathing patterns on the sixth floor.

Though these people were well-hidden, their biological signs couldn't be masked.

As long as hearts beat, blood flows, and people breathe, he could pick up even the slightest traces.

Sure enough, they had been lying in wait here.

But hiding in such a cramped, dark space?

Daredevil smirked.

Let's see who's really setting the trap here.

He crouched and stealthily moved up the stairs. In just a few seconds, he closed the one-floor gap, ready to catch them off guard.

"He's coming…" he overheard someone whispering.

But it was futile.

His figure darted through the corridor.

"Thud thud thud..." Suppressed gunfire abruptly broke the silence of the night.

As the shots rang out, the situation quickly reversed.

The ambushers revealed their positions, while Daredevil disappeared into the darkness.

Leaning against the end of the corridor, Daredevil listened quietly to their movements.

He wasn't in a hurry—at this moment, it was they who were nervous.

They were, after all, the ones trying to ambush him.

"Teams of two, find him!"

As expected, it wasn't long before they left their hiding spots to search for Daredevil in the shadows.

This was his chance.

Daredevil leaned calmly against the wall, waiting for the nearest pair to approach.

These two were likely wearing bulletproof vests, tactical helmets, and carrying carbines—well-equipped.

But everyone knows that well-equipped guys are usually weak.

True strength is found in those who rely on fists, hammers, axes, and just charge in, like Lynch, Thor, Captain Marvel, Hulk, and so on.

To Daredevil, these two were weaklings.

As the two, using infrared thermal imaging goggles, closed in on Daredevil, the gap between them and their target slowly shrank.

Their hearts pounded as the silhouette of a figure began to appear on their screens.

"D-3 has spotted a potential target."

"Repeat, D-3 has spotted a potential target."

"Moving in for confirmation, D-3 is about to verify."

"Copy!"

...

As the sounds drew nearer, Daredevil finally made his move.

A master of hand-to-hand combat, Daredevil knew one thing:

At this distance, fists are faster than guns.

Whoosh!

He dashed out of the darkness, not slowing down one bit.

"Fire!"

"Thud thud thud thud thud thud!"

In just two seconds, after some startled cries and gunfire, the two men hit the ground, silent.

Daredevil turned his head and flexed his neck.

After taking down two, their encirclement was compromised.

Now, it was time for a full-on assault.

...

Fifteen minutes later, Daredevil, slightly out of breath, relaxed.

Based on his calculations, there had been a ten-man team, but now none of the enemies were left standing.

Karen could come up and retrieve the documents.

Thinking this, he headed toward the stairwell.

"Whoosh."

Suddenly, a faint noise broke the silence.

Daredevil's expression instantly changed as he dodged.

A dart, moving at an incredible speed, barely grazed his face and embedded itself deep into the wall.

Who?

Blood dripped from the wound on Daredevil's cheek.

But what worried him more was that he couldn't sense the presence of this attacker. The dart was made of some special material and crafted so precisely that the sound it made as it flew was nearly imperceptible—it had almost hit him square in the forehead.

Another person who understands my abilities?

Daredevil leaned against the wall, ignoring the blood dripping from his face, focusing entirely on sensing any sound around him.

He wasn't desperate—someone like Lynch was incredibly rare.

This guy couldn't be completely silent.

Just then, Bullseye, wearing a special uniform, slowly emerged from the shadows, a crazed look in his eyes, spinning several knives between his fingers.

Using his special goggles, he locked onto Daredevil once more.

Raising his hand, he silently flung several darts toward Daredevil.

Here they come!

Daredevil's nerves tightened, and he began dodging quickly.

Twisting his body at unnatural angles, he managed to evade dart after dart.

But...

The last dart flew at him at a speed nearly double that of the others, aimed straight for his head.

There's no way to dodge this one...

Daredevil's heart sank.

Bullseye grinned in cruel satisfaction, as if already seeing Daredevil's gruesome death.

But in the next instant, his expression changed.

His previous smugness turned to surprise and fury.

Because he saw that the dart was caught by a sudden figure.

"Nice throw," Lynch casually remarked, then crushed the sharp dart into a ball of scrap metal with ease.

"But it's useless."

"You're courting death!"

Bullseye, now unhinged, was provoked into a frenzy by Lynch's words. Without considering Lynch's strange abilities, he immediately pulled out more weapons and threw them all in a rapid barrage.

Hovering in mid-air, Lynch watched him coldly.

Twin beams of heat vision shot out, sweeping across the room, instantly reducing the incoming projectiles to ashes.

Then, in a blink, Lynch knocked Bullseye down.

"Now," Lynch hovered above him, his voice icy, "tell me, where is Kingpin?"
