Surprise Training

In the middle of a medium-sized football field, there was a group of boys undergoing physical training. To the far right of the field, a group of four boys had an elastic band tied to their ankles and were trying to run as far from each other as possible.

One of the four players seemed to be having a particularly difficult time with the training exercise. The elastic band stretched the least in the direction he was pulling, and his body was swaying in whichever direction the strongest pull came from.

After the four players had done the training exercise for about thirty seconds, a whistle sounded. "Enough for now!"

"Come on, Alexis, be stronger!" Kieran screamed at Alexis. Xavier had invited his three assistants to oversee the training. "You're literally being flung around."
