'A breakthrough!'

All laxness disappeared from his body as his mind became more alert after noticing that.

Now with a lead, Jidenna squinted his eyes, quickly following the waves going through the air before Cheng Yuan stopped talking.

At first, Jidenna noticed that the mysterious wave was mostly absorbed by a lot of people sitting in the front. It seemed that the further back the wave went, the fewer people could absorb it.

'Is that it?' he thought. 'Does this wave have a range limit?'

He checked again.

He softly shook his head, striking out what he just thought because Jidenna could clearly see the wave reaching every part of the room without any visible sign of strain.

'So if it doesn't have a range limit—or maybe it does, but at least it can cover this room…'

'Okay, if the range limit isn't the issue, what is?' he checked again and thought. 'Could it have an effective range?'
