Elaria

"What a beautiful sight," I murmured as I admired the splendid city before me from the terrace on the third floor of Mr. Arthur's mansion, with a glass of wine in hand. You must be wondering how I ended up here and what brought me to this place after "losing my memory." Well, dear friends, things change.

"Cassian, stop wasting time and start cleaning. And let go of the wine already, that's not for you," or maybe not. Sometimes, Cale is alright, but other times, I wish he would disappear for a while. He doesn't let me enjoy this beautiful landscape of Aldoria, a small city not far from the center where the academy stands. By the way, have I told you anything about this world?

To start with, the world is called Elaria, the same one in which "Legends of Aetheria" unfolds. The story primarily focuses on the island of Altaria, the political and economic heart where royalty and the highest ranks reside. Of course, there are more islands around Altaria, nine in total including itself. These are:

Altaria: Political and economic center.

Aetheris: Knowledge and arcane magic.

Lunaris: Mystic connection with the moon.

Solaria: Agriculture and food resources.

Zephyria: Navigation and aerial transport.

Ignis: Forges and metallurgy.

Thalassia: Aquatic resources and fishing.

Terravita: Ecological balance.

Nocturna: Ancient mysteries and secrets.

Goodness gracious, just remembering it gives me a headache. Anyway, to finish, as I was saying, I'm in Aldoria, near Altoris, the central city where the Arcanum Academy is located, which I'll be entering in a few days. Yes, in a few days, because it's been almost a month since I came to this place. During this time, I've been working like a slave.

By the way, I discovered more about Cassian. Turns out, he lived in a village on the island of Terravita, where he worked as a farmer. He decided to apply for the entrance exam to the academy, then left Terravita and found this job with Cale's help. Or so his diary says. I don't know if Cassian wrote it or if it was the author, but either way, it doesn't matter.

Many will surely be disappointed because I'll be entering the academy in a few days without having trained at all. Why? you may ask Well, simply put, there was no time, dear ones, no time at all. Despite my unfortunate "accident" that caused me to lose my memory, Mr. Arthur, a fat, ugly old man, punished me by making me work overtime until I could join the academy. What a miserable old man, right?

Everyone going to the academy is either training or studying, but me, my friends, I've been cleaning up the damn dogs' messes for this fat Arthur. And how will I pass the academy entrance exam without studying or training? Well, although the author didn't give me any special abilities or a system, I have knowledge. As they say, knowledge is power, and it's my greatest and only weapon for now.

The good thing about the academy is that they value not only strength as a fighter, but also knowledge specializations like engineering to create weapons, ships, and more. Since I know the theory behind many of these specialties, I can choose one of these courses. So I'm not worried about getting into the academy.

Of course, I'll have to get stronger to switch courses later on, but I suppose we'll progress slowly but surely. I'll have to make the most of the advantage of knowing everything about this novel.

And first, I'll need to earn the interest of 'that' woman.

Very short chapter in about 15 hours I will write more.
