Agent Shen approached cautiously, holding out the phone. "Chief, it's the Director," he said, covering the speaker.

"Not now!" Chief Xi roared, his face red with fury.

Agent Shen nodded and retreated, terrified. The office fell into a tense silence, the only sound coming from the TV, which seemed to mock Chief Xi with its relentless coverage.

"Get me those idiots in the video," Chief Xi bellowed. "Get them in handcuffs now!"

Another agent ran over, breathless and wide-eyed. "Sir, we have trouble."
