Peng Xiu took a long drag of her cigarette, her mind racing. "No, I didn't know. I can make it up to you," she replied, trying to speak in code.

"Okay, I will come visit soon and bring you some cake, goodnight," she said before hanging up the call. She finished her cigarette, her thoughts troubled. When she first joined the Triads five years ago, she might have believed Han Xin was involved in such crimes.
But after getting closer to him over the years, she realized he wasn't like that. Han Xin was a good person, and she was certain he had nothing to do with this. Returning inside, she noticed he hadn't come back. Concerned, she went looking for him, her mind a whirl of conflicting emotions.
