Asgard

Alex and the others flew at high speed through the light of the Bifrost. Outside the Rainbow Bridge, countless stars shone and were left behind in an instant.

I don't know how many universes and times we have traveled through.

I don't know how long time passed; it seemed like a moment, and it seemed like an eternity.

Suddenly, the rainbow light in front of them disappeared, and a group of six appeared in the Bifrost Control Room.

In the middle of the Bifrost Control Room, there was a small raised platform with the Guardian Sword on it. It was still connected to the Bifrost and emitted white thunder light.

Heimdall lay unconscious next to the Guardian Sword.

He had been frozen by Loki using the Casket of Ancient Winters, and his body had been severely injured. After hearing the call, he forcibly broke the ice seal and used up his last strength.

Thor hurriedly stepped forward to check and found that he was just unconscious. He breathed a sigh of relief and said to Fandral, "Take him to the medical room. The others will come with me to the palace."

"Yes!"

Alex hurriedly looked around the control room. The entire control room was resplendent and had a hemispherical dome structure. The walls were covered with circular patterns, layer upon layer, and the patterns were inscribed with ancient runes.

Exiting the control room was the main body of the Bifrost.

The main body of the Bifrost was tens of meters wide and several kilometers long, spanning the Sea of Asgard. One end was the Bifrost Control Room, and the other end was the land of the Kingdom of Asgard.

The bridge was made of dark yellow translucent crystals, and it was unknown what kind of material it was made of. It flashed with colorful divine lights day and night.

Looking along the bridge, there were already fireworks in the distance, and the sounds of battle could be heard for miles.

Thor was in a hurry: "Loki has already taken action. I will go to the palace first, and everyone follow."

With a "whoosh" sound, he swung Mjolnir and disappeared in the blink of an eye.

"Holy shit!" Alex cursed in his heart. He could have taken me with him.

He could jump very far, but without knowing the specific location of the palace, jumping around rashly with no one to guide him could get him mistaken for an enemy.

Alex felt that Sif, Fandral, Hogun, and Volstagg were too slow, so he directly picked up Sif.

"Give me the direction."

He said, soaring into the sky.

Sif instinctively resisted at first, but then she thought that the overall situation was more important, and she couldn't escape anyway. So she stopped struggling and pointed the way in the air.

Fandral, Hogun, and Volstagg looked at each other, their expressions relaxed.

With the help of these two strong men, the three of them no longer had to worry about the palace. If they couldn't solve it, the three of them wouldn't be able to help anyway.

They decided to stop and clean up the Frost Giant minions causing damage.

In the Palace of Asgard, Odin lay peacefully in his quarters. Frigga guarded her husband at the door, fighting off Frost Giants with her sword. But as a sorceress, she wasn't strong in frontal combat. Laufey, the Frost Giant King, slapped her aside easily.

Laufey stepped forward, crossed his icy blue hands over the golden energy shield, and slowly opened Odin's eyelids. "I know you can still hear and see everything around you! Remember, the one who killed you is the Frost Giant King - Laufey!"

He raised an ice blade, about to kill Odin when suddenly, a divine light knocked him out of the sleeping chamber.

Laufey was severely injured and looked up in shock. It was Loki who had attacked him!

Loki raised his staff again and said, "The one who kills you is the son of Odin!"

Another divine light shot out, completely killing Laufey. Laufey never understood why Loki wanted to kill him until his death. He didn't know Loki was his biological son.

Loki's actions weren't about the throne or reputation but to prove to Odin and Frigga that he was a better son than Thor. He even killed his biological father and prepared to eliminate the Frost Giant clan, severing his bloodline.

When Alex saw this, he was stunned. Only someone twisted like Loki could do such things.

But Frigga, deceived, was moved and said to Loki, "You saved your father!" She gave Loki a loving hug.

Loki smiled smugly. "Mother, I swore they would pay for their actions! I did it."

As he finished speaking, Thor and Alex arrived.

Thor shouted, "Loki!"

Alex saw Loki wearing armor, a cape on his shoulders, a golden scepter in his right hand, and a helmet with two horns.

Frigga walked over, smiled, and said, "You are finally here."

Thor, excited, with tears in his eyes, took a few steps forward. "Yes, mother, I'm back."

Unexpectedly, Frigga walked past Thor to Alex. "My husband Odin invited you a few days ago. I thought it would take years, but we meet in just a few days."

She held Alex's hand affectionately.

Thor was embarrassed. He wondered if his mother had been beaten stupid by the Frost Giant. No, he couldn't think that.

He walked around to Frigga again. "Mother, I'm here. I'm Thor. Your son."

Frigga looked reproachful. "I know, but you should treat guests with courtesy. As a prince, you should be respectful."

Thor was baffled. Even Alex couldn't understand. He thought if he could lift Mjolnir, he would be just an ordinary guest. It didn't warrant abandoning her sons to welcome him.

"Just him?" Thor laughed. "Mom, he is a brother I met on Earth. We drank and fought. You don't have to be so polite to him."

Frigga scolded, "He is your brother but also our distinguished guest. He comes from a higher dimension, a truer dimension."
