Chapter 33: The World of the Walking Dead

"Hey guys, look what I found."

Tzai came back, holding a cardboard box and with a smile on his face.

I put the cardboard box in front of a few people, opened it, and saw that it was full of water and food.

Slices of bread, chocolate, peanut butter, and various drinks.

T-boy said, "This shop has a kitchen that has not been looted. It seems that this cafe also provides pastries. It's a pity that those pastries have been stored for too long and cannot be eaten."

Moore couldn't wait to flip through the carton, and actually there was Coke, a dozen at that.

Moore took a big gulp from the can and couldn't help but sigh, "It's a pity there's no ice."

"Heh..." Daryl picked up a bottle of beer.

More smiled, "I have to say, Hei Zai, right? Master More is beginning to like you."

  "You can call me T-boy."

"Almost the same. Why bother with the details?"

A few people ate something to replenish their energy, and then had another cigarette.

When the cigarette was almost burned out, Sean stood up and said, "It's time to go. The gunfire came from two locations."

Backing out the back door, More walked in front with a dagger in hand, followed by Sean, Daryl, and T-boy.

This is an alley, very narrow, barely enough for one person to pass through. There are no zombies, which is good news.

Moore complained, "Shit, this is absolutely a violation of the building land occupation law, he should be shot."

Sean laughed and said, "Forget about it. If people are going to be shot, then the military factories should really produce bullets based on the number of people."

"What about the plan? How about we hide in the dark and shoot from behind? What do you think?" Moore turned around and asked.

"What's the hidden gun?" Tzi didn't react.

Moore chuckled and said, "We were shooting at those damn bastards who tried to steal our guns. Why? Is it hard to understand?"

"Oh, I forgot, Blackie, you wouldn't be afraid to shoot anyone."

"Okay, More, stop talking and go over to take a look at the situation first." Sean said.

  "Fine."

After they exited the alley, a few scattered zombies immediately discovered them. Moore walked forward calmly, grabbed a zombie with one hand, and stabbed a dagger into the zombie's head with the other hand.

Sean and his men also dealt with a few zombies. After determining the direction of the gunshots, Sean waved his hand and said, "Follow me, be quiet."

Several people jogged along the way. There weren't many zombies, so they cooperated and took turns to deal with them with daggers. The gunshots were getting closer and closer.

Sean stopped at a street corner, paused, and made a stop gesture with his fist.

"It's right in front. Moore and I will go check it out first. You can cover us and shoot if necessary. There are gunshots everywhere now. There's no need to worry about it."

"Let's go." Moore said without objection.

  Daryl frowned but said nothing.

Peeking out from behind a building, I saw that the street, which had been cleared, was once again filled with densely packed zombies.

The zombies gathered under a building. The gate had been destroyed by the zombies. It seemed that there was a group of people in the building.

A lot of zombies have already poured into the building, but there are still countless zombies outside the building.

Even though Sean had seen a lot of things in life, his eyelids couldn't help but twitch when he saw this scene.

There were too many zombies to count. Since those people were trapped in the building and even the door was broken, they probably wouldn't be able to hold on for long even if they held on to the stairs.

Moore lowered his voice and said, "Looks like we don't need to worry about these guys. Let's go directly to the police station, get our weapons, and find a car to leave immediately."

"With so many zombies, I don't think it's a wise choice to go to the police station now." Sean frowned slightly.

"Hey, Sheriff, you're not afraid, are you? We have to take risks. I don't need to tell you the importance of weapons."

"It's an adventure, but I think if we go there like this, it's not an adventure, it's suicide. Moore, look, the street is full of zombies, how are we going to get there?"

Indeed, the streets, especially around the building, were crowded with zombies, each one clinging to the bodies of other zombies.

The streets were blocked by water, so it was impossible to get through. If Sean and his men dared to make any noise, hundreds of people would swarm in instantly.

"What a bunch of crap. Not only did they sacrifice themselves for the weapons, but they also caused so much trouble for Mr. Moore."

No one could have thought that things would turn out to this point. Neither group got what they wanted, but instead the zombies became excited.

After all, this is a world of zombies, and humans are just surviving in the cracks.

"We have to find a way. There will always be a way. The group is divided into two teams, and we don't know the situation of the other team."

Even at this point, Moore was still unwilling to give up.

Sean thought for a moment and said, "Let's try again. If there are so many zombies at the police station, we can give up. We can find weapons later, but we only have one life."

"Of course, who would have had enough?"

Sean More slowly stepped back to meet Daryl and T-boy.

Sean said, "We have to take a detour. There are too many zombies on this street."

"Does anyone among us know the way? What if we run into a swarm of zombies?" Daryl said calmly.

"I think I should know." Sean took out the map from his pocket.

  …

"Boss, we are trapped. There are so many zombies. We need support!"

Red said anxiously holding a walkie-talkie.

  "Shh… shhh…"

There was a busy tone on the intercom, and Ben's voice came after a long while.

"What a bunch of rubbish! I have a lot of zombies here too. Damn it, I should skin the bastard who fired the gun."

"Boss, we are trapped in a building. We have no way out. What should we do?"

"What should I do? How should I know what to do! Damn it!" Ben's voice was very angry. "By the way, did you kill those people?"

Red hesitated for a moment, then said with a guilty conscience, "Kill them. It was because I killed them and shot them that I attracted the zombies."

The intercom was also very noisy, with gunshots heard from time to time, but Ben didn't notice that something was wrong with Red.

"Killed? That's good. Just hold on. There are enough weapons in the police station. I will come to rescue you once I get the weapons."

  "Boss, we are..."

Red was stunned, and then he realized that Ben closed the communication channel after he finished speaking.

"Red, come and help quickly, the firepower can't be suppressed." A subordinate at the stairs shouted.

Reid shook his head, threw those thoughts out of his mind, and comforted himself.

It might be dangerous over there too, and the gunshots here are so obvious, Ben should be able to hear them directly. He knows where I am and will come over.

  Red wasn't sure.

  "Come and help!"

"Hold on! The boss will come to rescue us soon!"

Red raised his rifle and fired a burst of shots at the bottom of the stairs.

If it weren't for the advantage of terrain, the stairs would only be this big, and the zombies' bodies would block the zombies behind them.

They couldn't hold on any longer.
