Dobin and the others still didn't know that the rascal responsible for their transfer out of Upper District Seven was none other than this "bushy-browed, big-eyed, seemingly honest" fellow right before their eyes.

Given the rank of this group of Patrolling Army, Charlotte scattered the adventurers and transferred them under their command. There was no other option, as Dobin and his colleagues held higher ranks, at a minimum they were fourth or fifth-level privates, and some were even corporals. The adventurers were all first and second-level privates, only suitable to serve under others.

In the Fars Empire's military ranks, from bottom to top, they are: private, corporal, non-commissioned officer, sergeant, Sergeant Major...

Each major rank is divided into five classes, with the fifth class of the lower rank overlapping with the first class of the next major rank. For example, a fifth-level private and a first-level corporal are both ranked forty-ninth.
