The second floor of the teahouse, the Eastern Tea Room, was dedicated to selling various tea beverages – Zhu Wencong's answer to the Western-style coffee house.

The piano turned into a guzheng, lattes turned into milk tea, Americanos turned into Cantonese-style – in short, whatever the coffee house had, the Eastern Tea Room had, and even what the coffee house didn't have, the Eastern Tea Room had as well.
