[68] I'm Done Being Poor, Dante!

"I'm here~" Hestia's right hand had already taken off her gloves, while her left hand held a thin needle. It turned out she had gone back to get a needle.

Aiden also skillfully lifted his clothes, revealing his sturdy back.

The familiar azure light appeared in the bedroom. Unsure if it was an illusion, Aiden felt that the Sparda power he had been so proficient at absorbing the divine blood from seemed to linger a bit longer today, and his right hand was also slightly throbbing.

While he was still pondering these questions, Hestia, seated in the chair, wore a puzzled expression and her tone was somewhat odd, "The magic has manifested, but Golden Rule, what's this? Why haven't I heard of it before?"

After Hestia finished reading the description of the Golden Rule, she burst into laughter immediately, her eyes also taking on the shape of a valis.

"Golden Rule? No way, seriously?" Hearing Golden Rule from Hestia, Aiden struggled to suppress his urge to exclaim, because this Golden Rule was indeed full of loopholes.

"Could it be the Golden Rule from the moonlit world? The one Gilgamesh has? But this isn't the moonlit world, and I'm not a Heroic Spirit. And why isn't it offensive magic or some supportive magic?" Aiden ranted wildly in his mind. He was very clear, and very much looking forward to, the fact that what he needed most right now was cash.

Could it have been determined based on his answer? Thinking of the two words 'financial power' he had just answered someone, Aiden pondered.

"Hey, Aiden-kun." Hestia handed the record paper to Aiden with a smile on her face.

All the data were exactly the same as yesterday, except for one additional magic, the Golden Rule.

Golden Rule wasn't a traditional attack magic that required chanting, nor was it supplemental magic. It wasn't speed magic either. It was a permanent magic, requiring only a minimal amount of magical power to maintain each day. It bestowed upon the holder a fate intertwined with fortune throughout their life, never to be troubled by money.

"So, it's really that Golden Rule. So, does this mean I won't have to worry about money from today onwards? When I think about it, it doesn't seem too bad after all." After all, Aiden was born in the 21st century, and it was easy for him to understand and be very clear about the role of money.

Even in this otherworld, money was a form of power, an artifact forged by the gods themselves. Just like magic scrolls similar to magical swords, they required a sufficient amount of money to obtain.

Soon, he would be traveling to another world. Unless it was a primitive society, money always played a significant role.

"I'm done being poor, Dante! If I could travel to your world, I'd have all your gear covered!" Now, Aiden was becoming more and more satisfied with the Golden Rule.

Hestia, who was accustomed to being poor, couldn't be more pleased with the Golden Rule. She sat excitedly in her chair, her tiny fists clenched, almost ready to rush up and hug Aiden. "Aiden-kun, this Golden Rule is amazing! We'll never have to worry about valis anymore, hahaha~"

"Yeah, yeah." Aiden replied with a smile. "I'll go wash up first, then get ready for lunch."

"Alright, Aiden-kun, I've prepared lunch for you~" Hestia leaped from her chair and bounced downstairs.

"Before I leave, I need to leave enough valis for Hestia and buy this house." Aiden thought as he watched Hestia's retreating figure.

After finishing the lunch Hestia had specially prepared for him, Aiden sorted the garbage while contemplating whether he should go out and test the power of the Golden Rule, to see if he could really go out and pick up money, maybe even try his luck at the casino.

*Ding Dong*

Just as he was thinking about his chances, the doorbell rang bringing him out of his thoughts.

"Is it someone from the Hephaestus Familia?" Aiden quickly placed the tableware in the kitchen sink.

"I'm coming~" Aiden opened the door.

Two unfamiliar young men stood outside the door, each holding a weapon: Durandal and Dragon Slayer.

"Are you from the Hephaestus Familia? I'm Aiden Sparta, nice to meet you." Aiden smiled.

"Hello." The two young men from the Hephaestus Familia replied.

"I'm Leonard Moretti." The young man holding Dragon Slayer said with a smile. He had flowing ink-black hair, sharp eyebrows, and a pair of emerald green eyes that seemed bottomless like a lake, making it difficult to discern his age. His white shirt was only half-tucked into his pants, giving him a carefree look.

He seemed more like a poet, but definitely not a blacksmith, was Aiden's first impression of him.

"Hello, I'm Emlyn Berg." The young man holding Durandal said with a smile. He looked to be about twenty-four or twenty-five, with rare red eyes, a high nose bridge, thin lips, handsome features, tall stature, towering over Aiden by a head, and a muscular physique. However, his smile seemed somewhat shy, and for some reason, he appeared a bit excited.

Now, he looked more like a blacksmith.

"Please come in." Aiden turned and gestured for Leonard and Emlyn to enter, then closed the door behind them.

"Thank you for your hard work. You brought the swords over at noon. Have you eaten yet?"

"Not at all, we came after having lunch." Both of them replied simultaneously, although Emlyn was still a bit reserved.

"As long as you've eaten." Aiden, who rarely interacted with strangers, wasn't sure what to say at this moment.

However, since the room wasn't large, Aiden led them to the living room as he spoke, avoiding any awkwardness.

"Please have a seat." Aiden gestured towards the sofa.

"What would you like to drink, tea, juice, coffee, or milk?" Aiden asked with a smile after they had settled down.

"No need." Both of them replied in unison.

"Don't be so polite. You came all the way to deliver the swords right after lunch, and I didn't even offer you a drink. That's not fair, is it? Besides, you know about the relationship between our Hestia Familia and your Hephaestus Familia. There's no need to be formal with us." Aiden used the most common set of words when dealing with guests.

"In that case, I'll just have a glass of water, thank you." Emlyn still seemed a bit hesitant.

"I'll have a cup of tea, thank you." Leonard smiled.

"Just wait a moment." Aiden, who noticed Emlyn's nervousness and was essentially of the same type, but better at acting, smiled and then walked towards the kitchen.

Once Aiden entered the kitchen, Emlyn patted his chest and said excitedly, "So this is Aiden, the master of Dragon Slayer? The genius who surpasses even the Sword Princess, as Hephaestus said?" He took a deep breath and asked Leonard softly, "But, is it really true?"
