By evening, as the sun was setting, Hanabi had finally left Might Guy's house.
Yato didn't see her off; he lay on the bed, lost in thought.
"Burp... Yato!" Riku emerged from the kitchen, burping. "Might Guy was right, you know. You shouldn't shut yourself off. Cherish the people in front of you."
Even though Riku was new to human society, he sensed Yato's inner turmoil. Yato's bloodlust from the previous night had noticeably diminished during his time with Hanabi.
Hearing Riku's words, Yato remained silent for a while, staring at the ceiling, lost in thought.
After some time, he attempted to sit up, enduring the agonizing pain. Retrieving a bottle containing the "Kotoamatsukami" Mangekyō Sharingan from a sealing scroll, he held it out toward Riku.
"Let's start the transaction."
As soon as he spoke, the surrounding environment changed drastically. The aura around Riku transformed, his eyes flashing red as he floated in the air, scrutinizing the items in the bottle.
"Talent Exchange Space Activated."
"Testing and Detecting Exchanged Items."
"Testing Completed..."
Item: [Mangekyō Sharingan], with the strongest illusion of the pupil technique [Kotoamatsukami].
State: Incomplete (unable to activate the ultimate technique, Susanoo).
A cold, emotionless mechanical voice emanated from the Dokkaebi, entirely different from its usual tone.
Yato's expression remained unchanged. This was the second time Riku acted this way; the first was when he was given the gravity devil fruit.
According to Riku, he wasn't the one controlling his current state; the beings behind the system possessed him when an item that interested them appeared. Apparently, Shisui's Sharingan was valuable enough to summon one of them.
"The item's level of judgment is: S..."
"Calculating appropriate talent points..."
"132,000 talent points."
Seeing the amount given by the system, Yato took a deep breath. This was the most significant number of points he had ever acquired. He couldn't imagine what kind of talents and items he could buy with such an amount.
Without wasting time, he said, "Make a deal."
Riku's eyes shone, and the Sharingan in his hand suddenly disappeared, indicating that the deal had been successfully made.
Buzz!
With a wave of its claw, Riku made many strange items appear in the void.
[Devil Fruit, Zoan Type] (One Piece World): 30,000 TP.
[Ice Magic] (Fairy Tail World): 22,000 TP.
[Ultimate Eye]: 150,000 TP.
[Six Eyes] (Jujutsu Kaisen World): 145,000 TP.
These were all exchangeable items provided in the Talent Exchange Shop from all over the fictional universe. The value of Yato's Mangekyō Sharingan was high enough to afford him a wide selection.
"Please choose the item to exchange," Riku said, waiting for Yato's decision.
"Keep an eye out for anyone approaching," Yato instructed, then focused on the items in front of him, evaluating their abilities and potential usefulness. Not everything was suitable for him.
For example, the Zoan-type Devil Fruit was out of the question. Having already eaten the Paramecia-type Gravity Fruit, consuming another Devil Fruit would be fatal.
The ice magic seemed appealing, but the Naruto world's chakra system was fundamentally different from the magic system of Fairy Tail. At best, the Ice Make Magic would transform into a Kekkei Genkai, allowing him to use ice-style jutsu.
However, the Ultimate Eye caught his attention. This pair of eyes had an extraordinary ability to instantly learn and even improve upon any technique it observed, surpassing the original user. In a world filled with diverse and complex jutsu, this ability was invaluable. Unlike Kakashi's Sharingan, which drained his chakra, the Ultimate Eye had no such drawback.
"But can it really copy all ninjutsu?" Yato wondered.
The Ultimate Eye could elevate Yato from a ninjutsu novice to a master rivaling Hiruzen Sarutobi. However, the Talent Exchange Shop likely imposed some limitations; it couldn't be completely unrestricted.
[Kotoamatsukami] was hailed as the most powerful genjutsu, but was its value truly on par with Six Paths-level techniques? If not, was the Ultimate Eye worth the exchange?
No.
Even without additional abilities, the gravity fruit alone grants immense power. Once he mastered observation and armor haki, he could use more powerful techniques that rivaled S-level jutsu, propelling him to the pinnacle of the world.
Having decided, Yato skipped over the Ultimate Eye and continued his search.
Though the Ultimate Eye was formidable, capable of transforming someone into a Kage-level Shinobi, Yato's ambitions reached far beyond that.
"Huh?"
Yato paused as his gaze landed on a particular item.
[Sharingan: 1 tomoe open]: 40,000 TP.
Seeing that an already-opened Sharingan was being offered, Yato didn't hesitate and immediately bought it.
He didn't expect the Sharingan to be offered at such a low price. Even though it was only a 1-tomoe Sharingan, once he bought it, it would become his Kekkei Genkai, and he would be no different from an Uchiha.
Unlike Kakashi, who couldn't control and evolve his Sharingan without Obito's help, Yato would be able to slowly evolve it to two, three, and even Mangekyō Sharingan, which wasn't impossible.
So, Yato didn't see it as a loss to buy the Sharingan.
Riku's eyes glowed red as the transaction was finalized, and Yato felt a surge of power as his talent points were deducted.
With a flick of its claw, a small scroll appeared in Yato's hand; once he tore it, he would gain the Sharingan.
Yato didn't immediately tear the scroll and instead continued looking at the shop for anything else he could buy.

"Huh? Another one-time use card?"
His eyes gleamed as he found what he was looking for.
[Energy Absorption]
Item Source: Armed Alchemy.
Item Type: One-time Consumable Item.
Item Level: S.
Item Effect: After using this card, the user will gain the ability to absorb all energy and strengthen himself. (Note: This item is a one-time consumable item; duration: 2 hours!)
"It's actually a skill experience card," Yato muttered to himself.
Upon seeing this card, Yato immediately thought of a certain energy, which only appeared in the Naruto movie.
"The Ryūmyaku of Loran."
Chakra in the Naruto world could be categorized into several types:
Common Chakra: Extracted from cells within the body using specific techniques.
Natural Chakra: Appears in Shippuden, is necessary for practicing sage arts, and is more potent but volatile. Mishandling it results in petrification.
Impure World Reincarnation Chakra: Unlimited and unexplained, linked to the soul.
Six Paths Chakra: Fusion of natural chakra and tailed beast chakra. Sasuke used this after absorbing the tailed beast chakra.
Loran Ryūmyaku Energy: almost infinite natural energy from earth veins, capable of materialization and time-space travel.
Only the Queen of Loran could control it. However, Yato believed that [energy absorption] could override this limitation and allow him to absorb the Ryūmyaku chakra. The pressing question was whether the energy would remain after the card's effect ended.
Yato looked up at Riku floating in front of him, hoping for an answer. However, Riku remained silent, showing no intention of providing further assistance.
"Can this prop card not disappear after helping me absorb the chakra of Loran?" Yato inquired, but the Dokkaebi remained unresponsive, awaiting his decision.
"Answer my question, and I can provide you with half of the energy!" Yato offered, feeling no regret. The Ryūmyaku energy was vast, as evidenced by Loran's queen using it to create weapons capable of threatening the five great nations without depleting the source.
Yato knew he couldn't absorb all the energy alone—it would overwhelm him. His true target was the core of the Ryūmyaku, the source attracting all the earth's energy streams.
"There can't be only one Ryūmyaku on Earth," he mused. "The energy beneath Loran alone can't account for such power. There must be a central core, like the Earth's center, drawing all the energy."
If he could find and absorb this core, he would become a perpetual motion machine, drawing limitless energy from the Earth.
"The core belongs to you, but we get 100% of the Ryūmyaku energy," Riku finally spoke, eager to claim all the Ryūmyaku energy.
Yato didn't know the origins of the Talent Exchange System, but it was clear they were desperate for energy, as evidenced by their willingness to invest so much in him with just a verbal agreement.
His heart raced; Riku's words confirmed that the [energy absorption] card could indeed store absorbed energy. Moreover, the core of the Ryūmyaku existed—his theory was correct. The trip to Loran was now on his agenda.
