"Boom!"
In the boundless white space of consciousness, Angel was running wildly, like golden lightning weaving through the void. High above, dark spatial rifts opened up one after another, resembling cannon muzzles with infinite firepower, launching countless silver spears of terrifying power.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
The sub-space lances chased Angel relentlessly, their deadly aim unyielding. Fortunately, Angel's continuous development of her abilities allowed her to narrowly evade the spears, despite the massive gap in Honkai energy between her and her pursuer.
"Swish!"
A spear shot from the front with uncanny precision. Angel paused, but her momentum carried her forward, and she was on the brink of being pierced. She glanced around, her expression calm, her mind razor-sharp. In a split second, she spread her hands, and threads wrapped around the spears on either side, pulling her upwards and out of harm's way.
"Wild monkey, disappear!"
High above, the Herrscher of the Void angrily wiped potato chip crumbs from the corner of her mouth, then clasped her hands together. Hundreds of sub-space lances transformed into sharp ribbons, converging on Angel to slice her apart.
Angel frowned and looked up at the furious Queen with an expressionless face.
'Alas, you won't even let me speak or give me a chance to kneel and admit my weakness! I won't go out and tell people that Queenie is a fat otaku playing games and eating potato chips here alone, right? ...This seems to be a power struggle, so is it that the dominance power has inadvertently pulled me to where the Herrscher of the Void is? I wonder what kind of impact this death will have on me?'
Angel sighed silently, and a cold black skirt armor covered her body, while a dagger with a faint blue glow appeared in her hand.
The Schicksal B-rank Valkyrie, Angel [Hunter Battlesuit]], was ready for battle.
"Die!"
Sirin sneered, clasped her hands together, and the silver-white ribbons closed in on Angel like deadly blades. Suddenly, a massive force pushed against the ribbons, halting their convergence.
"Huh?"
Sirin was momentarily stunned. The next second, a huge repulsive force pushed the ribbons apart, and Angel stood there amidst the chaos, raising her small hand and pointing at Sirin.
"Herrscher of the Void, see the stars shatter!"
As Angel's childish and cold voice fell, simulated black holes appeared around Sirin, and the chaotic gravity expanded rapidly, threatening to tear her apart. Angel clenched her hands, and the black holes expanded, turning Sirin's position into a death zone where gravity ran amok.
"Boom!!!"
The earth-shaking roar echoed through the world of consciousness. As the dust settled, Ninti, a figure suspended in the air holding a Hom doll, controlled an unstable flickering black hole in her other hand, staring coldly at Sirin.
"That power... No, you are not that guy, you are a new Herrscher?"
Sirin put down her hand, her anger and murderous intent intensifying.
Even if they were her compatriots, they should die for tarnishing the queen's majesty!
As Sirin fumed, she caught a glimpse of a black shadow out of the corner of her eye.
It was Angel in her Hunter battlesuit, appearing behind her with a dark blue death dagger aimed at her head.
"Buzz--"
A spatial transmission black hole opened instantly, sending Angel and the blade to Ninti.
"Woosh--"
Ninti caught Angel with repulsion. At the same time, a massive black shadow appeared before Sirin, who had no time to be proud. The Titan's iron fist, like the front of a moving car, smashed into Sirin without warning.
"Bang!"
Sirin was slammed to the ground, bending her knees to absorb the impact, and creating a crater upon landing. When she slowly rose into the air again, a legion had gathered on the opposite side.
Angel, holding a long blade, Angel with two swords, Angel carrying a spear and a cannon—twenty different Angels walked step by step from behind the Hunter Angel. One after another, a full hundred Titan BT72s, like a hundred white giants, descended slowly into this world.
Ninti floated in the air, holding the Homu doll in one hand and controlling a flickering black hole in the other, staring at Sirin coldly.
"How about a ceasefire? We don't want a conflict with you, elder sister." × N
From the mouths of the Angels and the mechanical giants, the words echoed in unison. At the same time, the sharpness of their swords, the muzzles of their weapons, and the purple light in the Titans' eyes created a suffocating and powerful pressure.
This was all the combat power Angel could muster at present: Ninti, the strongest under the Herrscher, a hundred Titans capable of overwhelming an A-rank Valkyrie, and over twenty Angel individuals far more powerful than the Titans. Only five individuals remained asleep, and the weak fighting power of the eldest Miss Angel and Cocolia Angel were absent.
It's a pity time was short, otherwise, all Angels could have been replaced with Joyce clones to match Ninti's combat power.
Angel knew very well that even with this, the chance of winning against the Herrscher was extremely low. After all, the Herrscher of Dominance was not meant for direct combat.
Sirin looked around at this formidable formation with a cold expression. After a long silence, she covered her face with one hand, raised her head, and laughed maniacally.
"Hahahaha!"
"Yeah, I'm so weak now, not even one ten-thousandth of what I used to be. But just because I'm weak doesn't mean you can be stronger than me! Go to hell, ants!"
Sirin's words were filled with tyrannical killing intent. With a wave of her hand, thousands of spears flew out like a rainstorm.
The Angels were speechless, knowing that dialogue had no effect.
"Sister, I'm sorry. If you want a war, then let's have a war!" × N
The Angels made their decision, and the entire army charged.
...
"Angel?"
"Angel!"
"Angel!!"
The next morning, Angel was gently patted on the face by Himiko and gradually woke up.
"Uh... what's wrong with me?"
Angel clutched the quilt, her face pale, and her lips bloodless. After battling Sirin all night, she had no idea how she finally left the battlefield of consciousness. She only knew there was no winner, but she had been beaten to the brink of exhaustion.
"It's okay, you're just sick. Don't be afraid, get some rest, and you'll be fine soon... I'll get you a bowl of porridge, wait a minute!"
Himeko forced a smile, but her voice trembled uncontrollably. After closing the door gently behind her, Himeko leaned against it, covered her mouth, and tears streamed down her face.
'Why? How could this happen? I asked the medical department to help her recuperate after the last time! Angel is still so young, why is she suffering like this? Please, take all this pain away from her and give it to me! Please, don't take her away from me again, God...'
Himeko gritted her teeth and, after a while, restrained her emotions, wiped her tears, and walked downstairs. In the living room, Kiana, Raiden Mei, Bronya, and Fu Hua were waiting.
Seeing Himiko coming down, Kiana rushed over immediately.
"How is Angel? How is she, Himiko?"
"She's awake. She's fine. Don't worry."
"Really? Don't lie to me! Her face is so pale. I'm so scared, Himiko!"
"Alas, the doctor has checked her. It's just overactivity of Honkai energy... a symptom of Honkai energy erosion. Fortunately, her body isn't seriously damaged. A few days of rest should be fine."
Himiko hugged Kiana and smiled. However, this smile, no matter how forced, lacked the usual carefree and refreshing taste. Himiko then turned to Fu Hua and said:
"Fu Hua, why are you here?"
"Uh... I... made an appointment with classmate Angel to practice martial arts today, but she didn't show up. Let's not talk about that for now. Teacher Himiko, does classmate Angel's erosion attack occur frequently?"
"It happened once when we went on vacation before, and today is the second time. The medical department judged that the Honkai energy in her body was too strong, and the awakening was too intense, which may have left some sequelae."
Himiko chose her words carefully, explaining as conservatively as possible. This explanation might comfort Kiana, Raiden Mei, and Bronya, who knew little about Honkai energy erosion, but it made Fu Hua frown secretly.
'Honkai energy erosion is a sign that the Valkyrie is about to wither. Is classmate Angel's condition so bad?'
Fu Hua felt a pang of sadness, and then an idea began to take root. 'Although the hope is slim, the Edge of Taixuan is the ultimate method of controlling Honkai energy. If Angel is truly talented, perhaps, she can prolong her young life.' Fu Hua thought so, torn between hiding her identity and fulfilling Otto's mission, and saving Angel's life.
