Ch 258: Someone was looking for you

'When is Sherina going to mellow out? It's been half an hour, and the air in the room is just as bad as it was during the start.'

Rika awkwardly clutched her tea and sat awkwardly at the table. She wanted to talk to Daniel, but every time she opened her mouth, Sherina interrupted her.

The beta was sparing no effort to let Rika know she was not welcome here.

"You need to mellow out a little, Sherina. I am not going anywhere and will not leave you for anyone else. There is no need to be so hostile to Rika."

Daniel did not hold back when he told his partner this. 

His cold and careless words made even Rika flinch, and she was sure they would have an even worse effect on the woman sitting beside Daniel.

As Rika expected, Sherina did not look happy when she was told this, and her eyes blazed with anger and obsession.
